REVIEW: Born Pretty Store Halloween L008 Stamping Plate

mam Wam do pokazania kolejną Halloween'ową płytkę, ale tym razem mam wrażenie, że moje mani jest też trochę romantyczne.

I have another Halloween plate to show You, but this time I feel like my manicure is a bit romantic too. 

Płytka to Born Pretty Halloween L008, ma ona dużo szkieletorowych, czaszkowych wzorów i kilka innych obrazków związanych z Halloween. Odbija się z niej świetnie, zazwyczaj nie mam zastrzeżeń do płytek BPS. Jeśli Wam się podoba, to polecam.

The plate is Born Pretty Halloween L008, it has a lot of skeleton, skull designs and a few other Halloween themed images. It stamps great, I usually don't have any issues with BPS plates. If You like it, I highly recommend.

Moja mani składa się z trzech kolorów: neonowej czerwieni, czerni i bieli. Jako bazy użyłam Color Club Blaze i Kiko 275 Black, oba nałożone w dwóch warstwach.

My manicure combines three colours: neon red, black and white. As a base I used Color Club Blaze and Kiko 275 Black, both of them applied in two coats.

Wzorek jaki wybrałam przedstawia dwa szkielety siedzące razem. Myślę, że to para kochanków, jeden z nich trzyma różę, może prezent dla swojej drugiej połowy? Wzorek ten odbiłam lakierem El Corazon st-matte-102.

The design I chose shows two skeletons sitting together. I think it's a pair of lovers, one of them holds a rose, perhaps as a gift for his significant other? I stamped this design using El Corazon st-matte-102.

OK, manicure ma coś walentynkowego w sobie (przynajmniej moim zdaniem;)) więc stworzyłam makijaż który jest romantyczny, ale z charakterem.

OK, the manicure has a Valentine's Day vibe to it (at least in my opinion ;)) so I created a makeup that's romantic, but with character.

W tym makijażu użyłam dwóch paletek cieni: BPerfect Carnival III Love Tahiti (Blaze, Coral) i Miyo Wedding Vibes (Veil, Wedding Dress). Czarny eyeliner na mojej powiece to niezmiennie Eveline Precise Brush Liner. Na lini wodnej użyłąm ColourPop Creme Gel Liner w kolorze Swerve. Przykleiłam też sztuczne rzęsy (Ardell Accent 311) i użyłam maskary Eveline Revel Lashes. Białe kropeczki, które dodałam w tym look'u zostały zrobione ColourPop Bff Liquide Liner w kolorze Graceland.

I used two eye shadow palettes in this makeup: BPerfect Carnival III Love Tahiti (Blaze, Coral) and Miyo Wedding Vibes (Veil, Wedding Dress). The black eyeliner on my lid is constantly Eveline Precise Brush Liner. On my water line I used ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in the colour Swerve. I also applied false lashes (Ardell Accent 311) and used Eveline Revel Lashes mascara. The white dots I added to this look we're made with ColourPop Bff Liquid Liner in the colour Graceland.

My Valentine's Day Manicure Series comes to an end, I hope You liked it. Today I want to show You the manicure I was actually wearing on this holiday and yesterday at a little party with my friends.

Nie jestem osobą anty-Walentynkową, ale kiedy zobaczyłam ten napis pomiędzy wszystkimi "be my valentine", "love", "together forever" - pomysł na to mani od razu wpadł mi do głowy. Mam nadzieję, że podejdziecie do niego z humorem i nikt nie poczuje się urażony.

I'm not an anti-Valentine's Day person, but when I saw this sign between all the "be my valentine", "love", "together forever" - this manicure idea instantly popped into my head. I hope You'll look at it with humour and no one will feel offended.

Bazowym kolorem tutaj jest My Secret Dressed In Black. Nałożyłam dwie cienkie warstwy. Na kciuku odbiłam napis "vodka will be my valentine", a na serdecznym trochę serduszek lakierem Sally Hansen Insta Dri Presto Pink. Użyłam płytek MoYou London Festive 40 i Pueen 37. Stempel Crystal Clear od B. Loves Plates uratował mi tutaj życie. Nigdy nie byłabym w stanie odbić tych wzorków tak równo gdyby nie on. Zdobienie zabezpieczyłam jedną warstwą Golden Rose Gel Look i jedną INM Out The Door.

The base colour here is My Secret Dressed In Black. I applied two thin coats. I stamped a "vodka will be my valentine" inscription on my thumb and a bunch of hearts on my ring finger with Sally Hansen Insta Dri Presto Pink. I used MoYou London Festive 40 and Pueen 37 plates. The B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear Stamper saved my life here. I would never be able to stamp these designs so precisely without it. I secured the nail art with one coat of Golden Rose Gel Look and one coat of INM Out The Door.

Co powiecie na kolejny Walentynkowy Manicure? Tym razem trochę bardziej gotycki i tajemniczy. Cóż, o ile róż w ogóle można nazwać gotyckim ;)

What would You say for another Valentine's Day Manicure? This time a bit more Gothic and mysterious. Well, if You can even call pinks Gothic ;)

Poza delikatnymi, słodkimi, ślicznymi i romantycznymi Walentynkowymi Mani chciałam zrobić też coś ciemniejszego i bardziej klimatycznego. Generalnie - coś bardziej "mojego".

Aside from the delicate, sweet, cute and romantic Valentine's Day manicures I wanted to do something darker and more climatic. Generally - something more "me".

Zaczęłam to mani przez pomalowanie paznokci średnim odcieniem różu. Użyłam Essie Bachelorette Bash i nałożyłam dwie warstwy. Lakier nie był w pelni kryjący po tych dwóch warstwach, ale wiedziałam, że będę robić gradient więc nie musiał być. Muszę Was ostrzec, że ten lakier strasznie zabarwił mi paznokcie. Nie użyłam żadnej bazy i to moja wina, ale myślę, że zabarwiłby nawet z bazą pod spodem.

I started this manicure by painting my nails in a medium shade of pink. I used Essie Bachelorette Bash and applied two coats. This polish wasn't fully opaque after these two coats, but I knew I was doing a gradient so it didn't have to be. I need to warn You that this polish extremely stained my nails. I didn't use any base coat and that's on me, but I think it would stain even with a base underneath.

Gradient jaki tutaj widzicie został zrobiony przy użyciu dwóch lakierów Dewi: L39 (ciemny fiolet) i L01 (czarny). Nałożyłam je gąbeczką do makijażu. Fakt, że te lakiery nie mają ekstremalnego krycia pozwolił im ładnie się zlać w gradiencie.

The gradient You can see here was made using two Dewi polishes: L39 (dark purple) and L01 (black). I applied them with a make-up sponge. The fact that these polishes don't have extreme coverage helped them to blend nicely in the gradient.

Do tego mani chciałam użyć wzór, który nadałby gotyckiego charakteru, więc sięgnęłam po dwie płytki MoYou London Gothic. Napis "love" na kciuku pochodzi z płytki MoYou London Gothic 06 a napis na reszcie paznokci z MoYou London Gothic 04. Odbiłam te wzory lakierem Sally Hansen Insta Dri Presto Pink i stemplem B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear.

For this manicure I wanted to use a design that would give it a Gothic character, so I reached for two of my MoYou London Gothic plates. The "love" sign on my thumb comes from MoYou London Gothic 06 plate and the inscription on the rest of my nails from MoYou London Gothic 04. I stamped these design with Sally Hansen Insta Dri Presto Pink and the B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear Stamper.

Sweet Valentine's Day Manicure

Valentine's Day is closer and closer, so I'll start attacking You with hearts like the rest of the internet. Hope You're not sick from all the sugar and love yet ;)

Kolor bazowy tutaj to Kiko 507 Blush. To idealny, nudziakowy, lekko brzoskwiniowy kolor. Nałożyłam dwie warstwy i tyle wystarczyło do pełnego krycia.

The base colour here is Kiko 507 Blush. It's a perfect, nude, slightly peachy colour. I applied two coats and that was enough to get full coverage.

Wzór jaki odbilam pochodzi z płytki Uber Chic Love And Marriage-02. Jak tylko zobaczyłam tą płytkę i ten konkretny wzór od razu wiedzialam, że zrobię takie mani. To oczywisty wybór, ale strasznie mi się podoba!

The design I stamped here comes from Uber Chic Love And Marriage-02 plate. As soon as I saw this plate and this particular design I knew that I would do a manicure like this. It's an obvious choice, but I just love it!

Odbijałam wzór My Secret Dressed In Black i pokolorowałam go kilkoma przeźroczystymi tint'ami własnej roboty. Użyłam małej sondy żeby kolory były dokładnie tam gdzie chciałam.

I stamped the design with My Secret Dressed In Black and coloured it with a bunch of DIY sheer tints. I used a small dotting tool to get the colours precisely where I wanted them.

Wiecie jak bardzo lubie tematyczne mani, prawda? Halloween'owe mani są moimi ulubionymi, ale bożonarodzeniowe, wielkanocne, na Dzień Św, Patryka - kocham je wszystkie. Ostatnio internet jest pełny różu, serc i calusów ponieważ nadchodzą Walentynki. W pewnym momencie od calej tej słodyczy bolą mnie zęby, ale zawsze staram się zrobić choć kilka mani równiez na to święto.

You know how much I like themed manicures, right? Halloween manicures are my favourite, but Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick's Day - I love them all. Nowadays the internet is full of pinks, hearts and kisses because Valentine's Day is coming. At some point all that sugar makes my teeth ache, but I always try to make at least a few manicures for this holiday as well.

W tym roku zdecydowałam się zacząć serię Walentynkowych Mani czymś delikatnym i nie zbyt przytłaczającym. Wybrałam jasny odcień różu jako mój kolor bazowy. Widzicie tutaj trzy warstwy lakieru Colour Alike Maniurka.

This year I decided to start a series of Valentine's Day Manicures by something delicate and not too overwhelming. I choose a pale shade of pink for my base colour. What You see here are three coats of Colour Alike Maniurka.

Jedynym akcentem na moich paznokciach jest mały napis 'love' na palcu serdecznym. Wzorek odbiłam używając płytki Uber Chic Love And Marriage-02 oraz lakieru Sally Hansed Insta Dri Presto Pink.  To był też dzień w którym moja wielka kolekcja stempli była przydatna. Nie wiem dlaczego ale nie mogłam podnieść tego wzoru żadnym z moich przeźroczystych, marshmallow, silikonowych czy klejących stempli. Jedyny który się spisał to mój stary podwójny Konad. Normalnie nigdy nie mam problemów z płytkami Uber Chic. Może dzisiaj byl zły dzień, a może wzór jest tak specyficzny, pomyślałam jednak, że warto o tym wspomnieć (kiedy będziecie kupować 10ty stemple, pomyślcie o tym jak o dobrej inwestycji :D Może Wam się na prawdę przydać któregoś dnia ;)).

The only accent on my nails is a small 'love' sign on my ring finger. I stamped this design using Uber Chic Love And Marriage-02 plate and Sally Hansen Insta Dri Presto Pink. This was also a day when my enormous collection of stampers came in handy. I don't know why, but I couldn't pick up this design with any of my clear, marshmallow, silicone or sticky stampers. The only one that did well was my old Konad Double stamper. Normally I never have any issues with the Uber Chic plates. Maybe today was just a bad day or the design is so specific, but I thought it was worth mentioning (when you buy a 10th stamper, just think of it as a good investment :D You might really need it one day ;)).

jutro jest ostatni dzień żeby wysłać prace na drugi tydzień Projektu Tęcza II ze stronki Kociołek Rozmaitości. Tym razem kolorem przewodnim jest różowy. Zdecydowałam się zrobić różowe, neonowe skittles i stemple. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się spodoba!

Hi,

tomorrow is the last day to submit artwork for the second week of Project Rainbow II on Kociołek Rozmaitości. This time the featured colour is pink. I decided to do pink, neon skittles and some stamping. Hope You'll like it!

Do moich skittles'ów pomalowałam paznokcie pięcioma różowymi lakierami do paznokci:

- kciuk - Color Club Warhol

- wskazujący - Color Club Poptastic

- środkowy - Color Club Flamingo

- serdeczny - Color Club Feathered Hair Out Of There

- mały - Colour Alike Maniurka

Prawie wszystkie te lakiery były nałożone w trzech warstwach, tylko Color Club Warhol był całkowicie kryjący przy dwóch.

For my skittles manicure I painted my nails with five pink nail polishes:

- thumb - Color Club Warhol

- index finger - Color Club Poptastic

- middle finger - Color Club Flamingo

- ring finger - Color Club Feathered Hair Out Of There

- pinky - Colour Alike Maniurka

Almost all of these nail polishes were applied in three coats, only Color Club Warhol was fully opaque in two.

Zazwyczaj nie jestem przesadną fanką "róż", ale tym razem nie tylko użyłam całej palety różowych odcieni, odbiłam też trochę serc na nich. Ten wzorek sprawił, że manicure zrobił się strasznie słodki, ale może mógłby to być wstęp do tematycznych paznokci z okazji Walentynek na moim blogu ;)

I'm usually not a very "pink" person, but this time I not only used a full range of pink shades, I also stamped some hearts over them. This design made the manicure terribly sweet, but perhaps it can be a prelude to Valentine's Day themed nails on my blog ;)

Valentine's Day Leftovers

To mani było zrobione na trochę przed Walentynkami, ale nie miałam czasu o nim napisać. Też jest w różu i z sercami jak poprzednie (możecie je znaleźć TUTAJ) i dalej moim zdaniem niezbyt nachalne.

This manicure was made a while before Valentine's Day, but I didn't have the time to write about it. It's also in pink and with hearts like the previous one (You can find it HERE) and still not too pushy in my opinion.

Kolory jakich użyłam to Essie Bahama Mama (dwie warstwy) i O.P.I Congeniality Is My Middle Name (jedna warstwa). O Essie pisałam już kilka razy, bardzo go lubię. O.P.I jest trochę przezroczysty. Bałam się, że będę musiała nałożyć co najmniej trzy warstwy więc zdecydowałam się dać kremową bazę.

The colours I used was Essie Bahama Mama (two coats) and O.P.I Congeniality Is My Middle Name (one coat). About Essie I wrote a bunch of times, I really like it. O.P.I is a bit sheer. I was worried that I'd have to apply at least three coats so I decided to give it a cream base.

Główną atrakcją tutaj jest wzorek stemplowy. Użyłam mojej nowej płytki MoYou London - Festive 19. Umieściłam serduszkowy dmuchawiec na kciukach i serdecznych oraz trochę małych serduszek z obrazka z kupidynem i dmuchawcem na reszcie.

The main attraction here is the stamping design. I used my new MoYou London plate - Festive 19. I placed the heart dandelion on my thumbs and ring fingers and some  little hearts from the cupid and dandelion image on the rest.

Do stemplowania użyłam nowego lakieru z moich zbiorów - Sally Hansen Insta Dri 210 Presto Pink. Czytałam, że na prawdę dobrze się odbija i to wszystko prawda. Lakier jest dobrze napigmentowany i ładnie się przenosi na paznokcie.

For the stamping I used a new polish in my stash - Sally Hansen Insta Dri 210 Presto Pink. I read that it stamps really well and it's all true. The polish is well pigmented and transfers nicely to the nails.

Valentine's Day Manicure

Walentynki nadchodzą i jest to dobra wymówka żeby używać dużo za dużo różu i serduszek :) Moje pierwsze związane z tym mani w tym roku jest subtelne. Po prawdzie nie świętuję Walentynek z fajerwerkami, więc również w mani mam tendencję do oszczędności.

Valentine's Day is coming and that's a good excuse to use much too much of pink and hearts :) My first related manicure this year is subtle. I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day with fireworks, so also in manicures I tend to be thrifty.

Kolor bazowy tutaj to ciemniejszy odcień różu ze złotym shimmer'em. Użyłam Salon Perfect Pink Mystique, na moich zdjęciach są trzy warstwy. Ten lakier ma być dupe'm China Glaze Strawberry Fields, ale nie mam ChG więc nie mogę powiedzieć na pewno. Tak czy owak ten jest świetny, wyglądał bardzo ładnie na moich paznokciach.

The base colour here is a darker shade of pink with gold shimmer. I used Salon Perfect Pink Mystique, on my photos there are three coats. This polish is supposed to be a dupe of China Glaze Strawberry Fields, but I don't have ChG so I can't say for sure. Either way this one is great, it looked really nice on my nails.

Zdecydowałam się odstemplować wzorki na tym kolorze. Użyłam płytki  MoYou London Pro XL 10 do serduszkowych różyczek i mojej nowej płytki Born Pretty BP-15 do odstemplowania całującej się pary. Para to była w zasadzie stemplowa naklejka, żebym mogła umieścić wzór perfekcyjnie po środku paznokcia. Dalej nie potrafię tego zrobić prosto ze stempla.

I decided to stamp some designs on this colour. I used MoYou London Pro XL 10 image plate for the rose hearts and my new Born Pretty BP-15 for the kissing couple. The couple was actually a stamp decal, so I could place the design perfectly in the middle of my nails. I still can't do that straight from the stamper.

Chciałabym napisać parę słów o płytce Born Pretty. Jak widzicie para odstemplowala się dobrze. Musiałam kilka razy spróbować, żeby było dobrze. Wzorki o dużej powierzchni mają tendencję do zeskrobywania się za bardzo i  zostawiania nas z prześwitami. Nie martwcie się to wszystko kwestia ćwiczeń. Ta płytka została wysłana mi do recenzji przez sklep Born Pretty Store i tak jak pozostałe, ma świetną jakość. Możecie ją znaleźć TUTAJ. Moja poprzednia recenzja jednej z płytek BP jest TUTAJ.

I'd like to write a few words about the Born Pretty image plate. As You can see the couple stamped good. I had too try a few times to get it right. Big surface designs tend to scrape too much leaving us with clearance. Don't worry it's all a matter of exercise. This plate was send to me by Born Pretty Store for review and just like the others, it has great quality. You can find it HERE. My previous review of one of the BP plates is HERE.
