I'm really behind with the Glam Nails Challenge posts. I usually manage to upload the pictures on IG on time, but writing something more is starting to become the actual challenge for me. Here is my Graveyard manicure, which was scheduled for the 21st of October! Sorry for the delay!

Bazowy lakier jaki mam na paznokciach to Color Club Tribe And True, idealny mchowy odcień zieleni. Nałożyłam dwie grubsze warstwy żeby uzyskać dobre krycie.

The base polish I have on my nails is Color Club Tribe And True, a perfect mossy kind of green. I applied two thicker coats to achieve nice opacity.

Pierwszy stemplowy wzorek jaki wylądował na moich paznokciach pochodzi z płytki Lina Nail Art Supplies Make Your Mark 02 i użyłam Mundo de Unas Mustard żeby go odbić. Ta kombinacja stworzyła bardzo interesujące tło dla mojego cmentarza. Zdecydowanie muszę częściej robić tego typu stemplowe kanapki.

The first stamping design that landed on my nails comes from Lina Nail Art Supplies Make Your Mark 02 plate and I used Mundo de Unas Mustard to stamp it. This combination created a very interesting background for my graveyard. I definitely have to do this type of layered stamping more often.

Cmentarne stemplowe wzorki są dość popularne i możemy je znaleźć na wilu różnych płytkach. W tym roku zdecydowałam się na płytki Whats Up Nails Happy Halloween i Gothic Affection. Czarny lakier jakiego użyłam do odbicia cmentarza to Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black.

Graveyard stamping designs are quite popular and You can find them on many different plates. This year I went with Whats Up Nails Happy Halloween and Gothic Affection plates. The black polish I used to stamp on the graveyard is Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black.

Zdecydowałam się na matowe wykończenie na paznokciach., ale najpierw musiałam zabezpieczyć stemple. Użyłam top coat'u Kads Smudge Resistant, a potem nałożyłam top coat Golden Rose Matte.

I decided to go with a matte finish on my nails, but first I had to secure the stamping. I used Kads Smudge Resistant top coat and after that applied Golden Rose Matte top coat.

Mam nadzieję, że podoba Wam się moje zdobienie. Myślę, że ze wszystkich Halloweenowych tematów cmentarz lubię najbardziej. A jaki jest wasz ulubiony Halloween'owy motyw???

Trochę się spóźniłam z tym postem, bo mani w temacie Spooky Night Sky w Glam Nails Challenge były zaplanowane na 10tego października. Udało mi się wrzucić moją pracę na IG na czas, jednak to pierwsza okazja żeby usiąść w spokoju i o nim napisać. Ostatnio życie jest gorączkowe ponieważ zaczęliśmy remont w domu i ilość spraw do załatwienia jest po prostu szalona.

Hi there!

I'm a bit late with this post, because Spooky Night Sky manicures in Glam Nails Challenge were scheduled for 10th October. I managed to post my work on IG in time, but this is the first chance I got to sit down in peace and write about it. Life has been hectic lately, because we started renovating our house and the amount of errands to run is just crazy.

Moje Straszne Nocne Niebo jest fioletowo-niebieskie. Jako bazy użyłam Color Club Disco Dress. To ciemny, ale dość jaskrawy fiolet o świetnej formule. Potrzebowałam dwóch średnich warstw do pełnego krycia.

My Spooky Night Sky is purple and blue. As a base I used Color Club Disco Dress. It's a dark, but quite bright purple with a great formula. I needed two medium coats for full opacity.

Przy tym mani chciałam mieć co najmniej dwa kolory jako bazę, a to zazwyczaj prosi się o gradient. Jeśli obserwujecie mojego bloga pewnie wiecie, że rzadko je robię. Za dużo bałaganu jak dla mnie. Najlepszym sposobem na ułatwienie sobie zadania to zrobienie stempli. Dalej jestem beznadziejna w używaniu tego pustego prostokąta do gradientów, który pojawił się jakiś czas temu na rzeszy płytek. Zamiast niego używam wzorka z płytki Bundle Monster BM-XL19, który według mnie wygląda najbardziej podobnie do gradientu.

In this manicure I really wanted to have at least two colours as my base and that usually calls for a gradient. If You fallow my blog, You probably know I rarely do them. To messy for me. The best way to make the process easier is to do stamping. I still suck at using the blank rectangular design for gradients that appeared on a bunch of stamping plates a while back. Instead I use a design from Bundle Monster BM-XL19 plate that in my opinion looks the closest to a gradient.

Lakier jaki dobrałam do fioletu to Mundo de Unas Blue. Jak widzicie jest super napigmentowany i nawet na tak ciemnym fiolecie wygląda jaskrawo.

The polish I pared the purple with is Mundo de Unas Blue. As You can see it's super pigmented and even on such a dark purple looks vibrant.

Kolejnym krokiem było dodanie księżyca w pełni na palcu serdecznym i kciuku. W ten sposób nie ma wątpliwości, że na moich paznokciach jest noc ;) Wzorek jest warstwowy i pochodzi z płytki Clear Jelly Stamper Haunted Mansion. Odbiłam go lakierem Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 02 White i China Glaze Pelican Grey.

My next step was adding a full moon on my ring finger and thumb. This way there's no doubt that it's night time on my nails ;) This design is a layered one and comes from Clear Jelly Stamper Haunted Mansion plate. I stamped it with Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 02 White and China Glaze Pelican Grey.

Na moich paznokciach możecie zobaczyć upiorne drzewa i cmentarz. Wzorki te odbijane były osobno, ale oba pochodzą z płytki Clear Jelly Stamper Haunted Mansion. Odbiłąm je używając lakieru Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black.

On my nails You can see some spooky trees and a graveyard. These designs were stamped separately but both come from Clear Jelly Stamper Haunted Mansion plate. I stamped them using Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black.

Sweater Weather

Zima zaczęła się już na dobre, temperatura spadła, mamy dużo śniegu, a ciepły sweter jest obowiązkowy. Zaraz obok wielkiego, miękkiego szalika. Sweterkowe paznokcie też są ostatnimi czasy bardzo popularne i tak jak obiecałam w TYM poście, będę robić coraz więcej mani z tym typem wzorów.

Winter started for good, the temperature dropped, we have a lot of snow and a warm sweater is a must have. Right next to a big, soft comforter. Sweater nails are also a big thing nowadays and just like I promised in THIS post, I'll be doing more and more manicures with this type of designs.

Dzisiaj mój sweterek jest fioletowy z musztardowym wzorem. Wiem, że to pewnie najpaskudniejszy sweter pod słońcem, ale ja na prawdę lubię to połączenie kolorów :) Jestem dziwna pod tym względem.. Użyłam O.P.I Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI i nałożyłam dwie warstwy do pełnego krycia. Lakier ma sporo złotego shimmer'u, który zazwyczaj jest widoczny. Zrobiłam na wierzchu dużo żółtych stempli, więc nie jesteście tego w stanie w ogóle zobaczyć. Po prostu uwierzcie na słowo, że shimmer wygląda świetnie na żywo.

Today my sweter is purple with a mustard design on it. I know that this is probably the ugliest sweter ever, but I really love this colour combination :) I'm weird that way.. I used O.P.I Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI and applied two coats for full opacity. The polish has a lot of gold shimmer, that's usually visible. I put a lot of yellow stamping on top, so You're not able to see any of it. Just believe me when I say that the shimmer looks great in person.

Wzór jaki mam na paznokciach pochodzi z płytki Blueberry 03, a lakier do stempli jakiego użyłąm to Mundo De Unas Mustard. Obrazek przeniosłam Stemplem B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear żeby uzyskać idealne położenie. Zdobienie pokryłam jedną warstwą top coat'u Kads. To specjalny top coat do stempli czy innych zdobień i nie rozmazuje on wzoru. Na wierzch dodałam jedną warstwę INM Out The Door żaby przyśpieszyć proces wysychania.

The design I have on my nails comes from Blueberry 03 plate and the stamping polish I used is Mundo de Unas Mustard. I transferred the image with B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear Stamper to achieve perfect placement. The nail art is covered with Kads top coat. It's a special top coat for stamping or other nail art and it doesn't smudge the design. On top of that I added one coat of INM Out The Door to speed the drying process.

Muszę powiedzieć, że top coat Kads na prawdę działa rewelacyjnie ze zdobieniami. Nawet nie musiałam być specjalnie ostrożna a wzór nie rozmazał się ani trochę. Konsystencja tego top coat'u jest raczej wodnista i trzeba się do niej przyzwyczaić. Jest tylko jedna rzecz jaka mnie męczy.. Skończony manicure miał coś dziwnego na powierzchni. Wyglądało to jak pociągnięcia pędzelka, ale na przezroczystym lakierze, było to widoczne tylko pod pewnym kątem. Nie jestem pewna czy to top coat Kads czy połączenie dwóch top coat'ów, ale manicure nie miał takie tafli jak zwykle. Warstwa top coat'u była jakby cieńsza. Nie wiem jak to lepiej wytłumaczyć :) Będę obserwować sytuację, ale ogólnie jestem bardzo zadowolona, że kupiłam top coat Kads. Jest on dostępny na Aliexpress za ok. 2,5-3$ (ja nawet złapałam go w promocji).

I have to say that the Kads top coat really works great when it comes to nail art. I didn't even have to be that careful and the design didn't smudge one bit. The formula of this top coat is rather watery and it requires getting used to it. One thing bothers me though.. The finished manicure had something weird on the surface. It looked like brush strokes, but on the clear polish, it was visible only at certain angels. I'm not sure if it's the Kads top coat or the two top coats together, but the manicure didn't have the usual glossy finish. The top coat layer was somehow thinner. I don't really know how to explain it better :) I'll be sure observe the situation, but overall I'm really happy I got the Kads top coat. It's available on Aliexpress for about 2,5-3$ (I even got it with a discount).

Perfect For Fall

Przyszedł czas żeby pokazać Wam mój drugi jesienny manicure w tym sezonie. Tak jak pisałam Wam w ostatnim poście, będziecie oglądać dużo ciepłych kolorów i spadających liści na moim blogu w najbliższej przyszłości. W dzisiejszym mani postanowiłam zestawić ciemno brązową bazę z musztardowymi stemplami i odrobiną delikatnego, złotego brokatu. Mam nadzieje, że Wam się spodoba!

It's time to show You my second autumn manicure this season. Just like I wrote in my last post, You'll be seeing lots of warm colours and falling leaves on my blog in the nearest future. In today's manicure I pared a dark brown base with mustard stamping and some delicate gold glitter. Hope You'll like it!

Ciemno brązowa baza o której wspomniałam to Kiko 324 Dark Chocolate. Na zdjęciach wygląda niemal jak czerń, ale uwierzcie na słowo - jest brązowa. Nałożyłam dwie cienkie warstwy, a z lakierem pracowało się świetnie.

The dark brown base I mentioned is Kiko 324 Dark Chocolate. On the photos it looks a lot like black, but believe me - it's brown. I applied two thin coats and the polish was awesome to work with.

Mój bardzo jesienny, stemplowy wzorek został zrobiony przy użyciu lakieru do stempli Mundo de Unas Mustard, płytki Born Pretty Store BP-19 oraz Stempla Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL Clear. Miałam trochę problemów z tym zdobieniem, nie byłam w stanie odbić wzoru odpowiednio. Nie jestem pewna czy to wina lakieru, płytki czy stempla, ale małe listki były całkiem rozmyte. Całość wygląda OK, ale nie jest tak idealna jak chciałam.

My very autumnal stamping design was created using Mundo de Unas Mustard stamping polish, Born Pretty Store BP-19 stamping plate and the Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL Clear Stamper. I had some problems with this nail art, I wasn't able to transfer the design properly. I'm not sure if it's the polish, the plate or the stamper's fault, but the little leaves were a total blur. The whole thing looks OK, but it's not as perfect as I wanted it to be.

Na koniec zdecydowałam się dodać delikatną brokatową mgiełkę żeby zamaskować niedociągnięcia. Użyłam mojego nowego top coat'u INM Northern Lights w kolorze złotym i muszę Wam powiedzieć, że go kocham. To szybko schnący top coat tak jak zwykły INM Out The Door i ma w środku mnóstwo małych drobinek brokatu. Są dwie wersje kolorystyczne tego top coat'u: złota i srebrna. Obie są też holograficzne, więc manicure z nimi wygląda na prawdę świetnie. Co najważniejsze dla mnie - top coat nie zakrywa zdobień. Byłybyście zdziwione jak ciężko było znaleźć taki produkt.

In the end I decided to add a delicate glitter top coat to mask the imperfections. I used my new INM Northern Lights top coat in gold and I have to say I'm loving it. It's a fast drying top coat just like the regular INM Out The Door and it has lots of little glitter particles inside. There are to versions of this top coat: gold and silver. Both of them are also holographic, so the manicure looks really great with it. What's most important for me - the top coat doesn't cloud the nail art. You'd be surprised how hard it was to find such a product.

dzisiaj chciałabym napisać parę rzeczy o taśmie do zdobień i pokazać Wam swa mani jakie zrobiłam ostatnio używając jej.

today I'd like to write a few things about striping tape and show You two manicures I recently did using it.

Taśmy do zdobień są teraz dostępne w różnych rozmiarach i kolorach. Często są metaliczne, brokatowe, a nawet holograficzne i występują w różnych odcieniach. Rozmiary jakie ostatnio widziałam to 1,2 i 3 mm. Born Pretty Store oferuje je w zestawach, w kolorze srebrnym i złotym. Jak na razie kształty na jakie trafiłam to prosty i chevron.

Striping tapes are now available in various sizes, shapes and colour. They're often metallic, glittery or even holographic and they come in different shades. The sizes I've seen recently are 1, 2 and 3mm. Born Pretty Store offers them in a set, in silver or gold. For now the shapes I came across are straight and chevron.

Taśma jaką będę dzisiaj recenzować została wysłana do mnie od Born Pretty Store. Ma 0,8mm i jest tylko prostą linią w kolorze ciemno fioletowym #16. Możecie ją znaleźć TUTAJ.  Taśma ma dobrą jakość, klej nei jest zbyt słaby, ale też nie ekstremalnie silny. Praca z nią była łatwa i przyjemna. Pozostałe taśmy jakie widzicie na moich zdjęciach kupiłam na BPS sama. Taśma do zdobień może być używana na wiele róznych sposobów. Jedynym ograniczeniem jest nasza kreatywność. Zdecydowalam się zrobić dwa mani żeby pokazać tylko dwa sposoby jak można się z nia pobawić. Na końcu tego postu pokażę Wam też kilka starszych zdobień w których użyłam taśmy.

The tape I'll be reviewing today was send to me from Born Pretty Store. It's 0,8mm and just a straight line in dark purple #16. You can find it HERE. The tape has good quality, the glue isn't too weak, but also not extremely strong. Working with it was easy and a lot of fun. The rest of the tapes You can see on my photos I bought from BPS on my own. Striping tape can be used in many different ways. The only limit is our own creativity. I decided to do two manicures to show You just two ways to play with it. At the end of this post I'll also show You some older designs in which I used striping tape.

Pierwszy manicure jaki zrobiłam zawiera taśmę do zdobień jako dekorację. Przykleiłam ją w kilku prostych liniach na palcu serdecznym i środkowym. Ważną rzeczą jest dokładne przycięcie taśmy na brzegach paznokci, żeby kiedy pokryjemy całość top coat'em pokryć również końce taśmy. Zapobiegnie to odklejaniu się taśmy na brzegach.

The first manicure I did has striping tape in it as a decoration. I stuck it in a few straight lines on my ring and middle finger. The important thing is that we cut the tape precisely on the edges of our nails, so when we cover the whole thing with a top coat we also cover the ends of the tape. This will prevent the tape from unsticking on the edges.

Piekny, delikatny róż jaki widzicie na moich paznokciach to Golden Rose Ice Chic 10. Jak wspominalam wcześniej bardzo lubię te lakiery, aplikacja to marzenie! Ten jasny kolor potrzebował trzech warstw, ale były one łatwe, szybcie i bezproblemowe.

The beautiful, soft pink You can see on my nails is Golden Rose Ice Chic 10. As I mentioned before I really like these polishes, the application is a dream! This light shade needed three coats, but they were easy, quick and flawless.

Żeby to mani było bardziej interesujące odbiłam trochę serduszek pomiędzy tasmą. Wzór pochodzi z płytki Uber Chic 4-02 i odbiłam go tak ładnie używając Stempla Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly. Fioletowy lakier jakim stemplowałam to Mundo de Unas 21 Purple.

To make this manicure more interesting I stamped some heart designs between the tape. The design comes from Uber Chic 4-02 plate and I stamped it so nicely using the Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Stamper. The purple polish I stamped with is Mundo de Unas 21 Purple.

Moja kolejna propozycja to technika w której tasma tylko pomaga osiągnąć laser nail art. Odklejamy ja w pewnym momencie.

My next proposition is a technique where the tape just helps create a laser nail art. We peel it of at some point.

Bazowe kolory jakich tutaj użyłam to Golden Rose Ice Chic 10 jak w poprzednim mani i Essie Blossom Dandy. Nałożyłam trzy warstwy lakieru GR i tylko dwie super łatwe Essie. Jeśli się zastanawiacie to ten lakier nie jest dokaldnym dupe'm Essie Mint Candy Apple (mam starą wersję), jest troszkę zieleńszy. Dla mnie jednak są one bliskie, a formuła Essie Blossom Dandy jest lepsza.

The base colours I used here are Golden Rose Ice Chic 10 just like in my previous manicure and Essie Blossom Dandy. I applied three coat of the GR polish and just two super easy coats of Essie. If You're wondering this polish isn't an exact dupe of Essie Mint Candy Apple (I have the old version), it's a tat greener. For me though they're close and the formula of Essie Blossom Dandy is better.

Kolejnym krokiem jest przyklejenie taśmy losowo na paznokciach. Ważną rzeczą jest żeby nasza baza była w 100% sucha albo zniszczymy ją kiedy będziemy odklejac taśmę. Ja nałożyłam szybkoschnący top, tak dla pewności. Taśma musi być mocno przuklejona do paznokci, ponieważ będziemy nakladać kolejny lakier na wierzch. Nie chciałybyśmy żeby lakier podsiąknął pod taśmę i zalał nasze paski. W tym mani kluczowe jest żeby działać szybko, więc lakier jaki wybieramy żaby pokryc taśmę jest ważny. Musimy odkleić ją zanim nasz "wierzchni" lakier zacznie wysychać. Żeby to zrobić, dobrze jest użyć łatwego jednowarstwowca. To powód dla którego ja wybrałam My Secret Dressed In Black do tego mani ;)

Ostatnim krokiem jest nałożenie top coat'u żeby wyrównać mani i skonczyłyśmy.

The next step is sticking the striping tape randomly on our nails. An important thing is that our base colour has to be 100% dry or will ruin it when we take the tape off. I applied a quick drying top coat just to be sure. The tape has to be firmly stuck to our nails, because will be applying another polish on top of it. We wouldn't want the polish to soak under the tape and flood our stripes. In this manicure it's crucial to work fast, so the polish we choose to cover the tape is important. We have to take it off before the "on top" polish starts to dry. In order to do that, it's nice to use a easy onecoater. That's the reason I picked My Secret Dressed In Black for this manicure ;)

The last step is applying a top coat to even out the manicure and we're finished.

St. Patrick's Day Manicure

Dzisiaj chcę Wam pokazać moje drugie mani na Dzień Św. Patryka. Tym razem jest mniej "zielone" i mniej skomplikowane..

Today I want to show You my second St. Patrick's Day themed manicure. This time it's less "green" and less complicated..

Pomyślałam, że zrobię coś niekonwencjonalnego. Pomalowałam paznokcie na czarno i dodałam tylko mały, zielony akcent. Czarny lakier jakiego użyłam to My Secret Dressed In Black, nałożyłam dwie łatwe warstwy.

I thought I'd do something unconventional. I painted my nails black and added just a little, green accent. The black polish I used is My Secret Dressed In Black, I applied two easy coats.

Akcent, który zdecydowałam się dodać to mały, zielony napis na serdecznym. Mówi on "MY HEART IS IRISH does that count?" ("MOJE SERCE JEST IRLANDZKIE czy to się liczy?") i jest to humorystyczne podejście do Dnia Św. Patryka.

The accent I decided to add is a small, green inscription on my ring finger. It says "MY HEART IS IRISH does that count?" and it's a humoristic take on St. Patick's Day.

Napis jakiego użyłam pochodzi z płytki MoYou London Festive 21. Odbijałam Stemplem Clear Jelly od Born Pretty Store żeby idealnie wypozycjonować wzór na paznokciu. Zielony lakier jakiego użyłam to Mundo de Unas Avocado.

The inscription I used comes from MoYou London Festive 21 plate. I stamped with the Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Stamper to position the design perfectly on my nail. The green polish I used was Mundo de Unas Avocado.

Płytkę jakiej użyłam możecie zobaczyć TUTAJ, a poniżej jest większość pozostałych produktów.
