Pamiętacie TO zimowe mani jakie zrobiłam w zeszłym roku? Ja tak! Zobaczyłam w internecie zdobienie prawie identyczne do tego które na koniec stworzyłam i straaaasznie chciałam je odtworzyć. Niestety moje paznokcie był w bardzo złym stanie, ciągle się rozdwajały i łamały. Ostatecznie zdecydowałam się mimo wszystko zrobić to mani, ale nie byłam z niech w 100% zadowolona. Nie pamiętam żebym jakiekolwiek zdobienie tworzyła dwukrotnie, ale dla tego jednego musiałam zrobić wyjątek. Oto nowa wersja mojej śnieżnej nocy!

Do You remember THIS winter manicure I made last year? I do! I saw a nail art almost identical to the one I ended up doing on the internet and wanted to recreate it soooo badly. Unfortunately my nails were in a very bad shape, chipping and breaking all the time. Eventually I decided to do this manicure any way, but I wasn't 100% satisfied with it. I don't remember doing any of my nail arts twice, but for this particular one I had to do an exception. Here's my new version of a snowy night!

Lakier bazowy to zwykła czerń. Użyłam Kiko 275 Black i nałożyłam dwie cienkie warstwy. Kiedy baza wyschła zaczęłam dodawać niebieski brokat małym pędzelkiem do zdobień. Nie chciałam żeby glitter za bardzo przykrył bazę, dlatego nie nakładałam go konwencjonalną metodą. Brokatowy lakier jakiego użyłam to Dewi L56.

The base polish here is a plain black. I used Kiko 275 Black and applied two thin coats. When the base was dry I started adding the blue glitter with a small nail art brush. I didn't want the glitter to cover the base too much, that's why I didn't apply it using the conventional method. The glitter polish I used is Dewi L56.

Na tym etapie zdecydowałam się wprowadzić malutką zmianę do mojego zdobienie w stosunku do wersji jaką stworzyłam w zeszłym roku. Użyłam innego wzoru śnieżynek ;) Tym razem obrazki pochodzą z płytek Blueberry 03 i Bundle Monster BM-S218. Odbiłam je lakierem Sally Hansen Insta Dri Silver Sweep i Stemplem B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear.

At this point I decided to make a tiny little change in the nail art opposed to the version I created last year. I used a different snowflake design ;) This time the images come from Blueberry 03 and Bundle Monster BM-S218 plate. I stamped them with Sally Hansen Insta Dri Silver Sweep and B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear Stamper.

Manicure był zabezpieczony Golden Rose Gel Look żeby uniknąć rozmazania i pokryty top coat'em Golden Rose Matte Top Coat. Użyłam też kropelek Inglot Dry & Shine żeby przyśpieszyć proces wysychania.

The manicure was secured with Golden Rose Gel Look to avoid smudging and covered with on coat of Golden Rose Matte Top Coat. I also used some Inglot Dry & Shine drops to speed the drying process.

REVIEW: Blueberry Store Stamper

Dzisiaj chciałabym podzielić się z Wami recenzją. Jakiś czas temu dostałam nowy stempel od Blueberry Store i muszę powiedzieć, że mam z nim zagwozdkę. Wszystko napiszę poniżej.

Today I'd like to share a review with You. A while ago I got a new stamper from Blueberry Store and I must say that I'm in quite a pickle with this one. I'll write all about it below.

Stempel jest standardowym, szarym, dwustronnym stemplem z dwiema białymi gumkami. W zestawie dostajecie też plastikową zdrapkę, ale ja ich nigdy nie używam. Jedynym wyjątkiem jest zdrapka Creative Shop, ale ta jest całkowicie inna. Zazwyczaj preferuję starą kartę bankomatową.

Pierwszą rzeczą jaką zauważyłam w tym stemplu był fakt, że gumeczki są bardzo miękkie i elastyczne. Mam dość pokaźną kolekcję stempli i mogłam porównać ten z kilkoma najpopularniejszymi markami. Dwustronny stempel Konad, starszy dwustronny stempel MoYou London XL, stempel Born Pretty Store są wszystkie twardsze niż ten. Stempel z Blueberry Store jest  nawet miększy niż Creative Shop! Jedyny jaki go pobił to nowy stempel MoYou London Sticky, który niedawno kupiłam. To bardzo użyteczna rzecz jeżeli chcemy odbijać wzorki przez wtopienie paznokcia w stempel. Dla mnie to lepsza metoda żeby robić horyzontalne wzorki, w przeciwieństwie do stemplowania przez rolowanie od jednej strony paznokcia do drugiej.

Następną rzeczą jaką zauważyłam był fakt, że gumki w tym stemplu były bardzo błyszczące.. To zazwyczaj znak, że stempel będzie potrzebował matowienia. Tak stempel z Blueberry Store odbijał prosto z opakowania:

The stamper is a standard, grey, double sided stamper with two white heads. You also get a plastic scraper in the set, but I never use them. The only exception is the Creative Shop scraper, but that one is totally different. Normally I prefer old credit cards.

The first thing I noticed about this stamper was that the heads were very soft and squishy. I have quite the stamper collection, so I could compare this one to some of the most popular brands. Konad double sided stamper, the older MoYou London XL double sided stamper, Born Pretty Store stamper are all firmer than this one. The Blueberry Store stamper is even more squishy than the Creative Shop stamper! The only one that beat it is the new MoYou London Sticky stamper that I bought recently. This is a very useful thing when You want to stamp images by sinking your nail into the stamper. For me it's a better way to do horizontal designs as opposed to stamping them by rolling the stamper from one side of the nail to the other.

Another thing I noticed was that the stamper heads in this stamper were very shiny.. That's usually a sign that the stamper will need priming. Here's how the Blueberry Store stamper worked straight from the package:

Użyłam dwóch różnych płytek z wzorkami - MoYou London Rockstar 03  i Born Pretty BP-L001. Lakier jakiego użyłam to mój ulubiony czarny - My Secret Dressed In Black. Jak widzicie stempel nie zadziałał zbyt dobrze, ale nowe stemple rzadko działają. Zdecydowałam się go zmatowić. Najpierw umyłam go mydłem, a potem zmatowiłam bloczkiem polerskim. Spolerowałam całe błyszczenie i stempel zadziała dużo lepiej. Poniżej możecie zobaczyć jak stempel podniósł te same wzory i porównanie ze stemplem Creative Shop.

I used two different image plates - MoYou London Rockstar 03 and Born Pretty BP-L001. The polish I used was my favourite black - My Secret Dressed In Black. As You can see the stamper didn't work so good, but new stampers rarely do. I decided to prime it. I washed it  in  soap first and than buffed it with a nail buffer block. I buffed off all of the shininess and the stamper worked a lot better. Below You can see how the stamper picked up the same images and a comparison to the Creative Shop stamper.

Dalej nie byłam zbyt zadowolona z liściastego wzoru z płytki Born Pretty BP-L001. Próbowałam i próbowałam i rezultat powyżej był najlepszym jaki osiągnęłam. Próbowałam nawet z innym lakierem i możecie zobaczyć co z tego wynikło poniżej. Pierwszy wzorek od lewej był odbity stemplem z Blueberry Store, drugi stemplem Creative Shop, a ostatni stemplem Konad. Użyłam lakieru Avon Metallics Platinum Petal.

I still wasn't too happy with the leave pattern from Born Pretty BP-L001 plate. I tried and tried and the result above was the best I got. I even tried it with another polish and You can see how it turned out below. The first image from the left was stamped with the Blueberry Store stamper, second with the Creative Shop stamper and last was stamped with the Konad stamper. I used Avon Metallics Platinum Petal polish.

Byłam na prawdę rozczarowana. Widocznie wzorek nie jest problemem, bo dwa pozostałe testowane stemple ładnie go podniosły. Czarny lakier też jest ok, ponieważ używałam go wcześniej z dobrym skutkiem, a kiedy przerzuciłam się na srebrny stempel z Blueberry Store dalej nie działał.

Moim następnym krokiem było wypróbowanie stempla z Blueberry Store na papierze z kilkoma różnymi płytkami i porównanie rezultatów z dwoma innymi stemplami: stemplem Creative Shop i dwustronnym stemplem Konad. Tutaj zaczyna się zagadka!

I was really disappointed. Apparently the image isn't the problem, because two of the tested stampers picked it up nicely. The black polish is also OK, because I used it before with good results and when I switched to silver the Blueberry Store stamper still didn't work.

My next step was trying out the Blueberry Store stamper on paper with some different plates and comparing the results with two other stampers: the Creative Shop stamper and Konad double sided stamper. Here's where the mystery begins!

IDEALNE REZULTATY!!! Stempel z blueberry Store zadziałał tak samo dobrze jak stempel Creative Shop ze wszystkimi powyższymi wzorkami.

Szczerze mówiąc, byłam na prawdę zdziwiona widząc jak dobrze zadziałał stempel z Blueberry Store, po tym jak nie udało mu się podnieść liściastego wzorka na początku (płytka Born Pretty BP-L001). Wróciłam do tej płytki i przetestowałam inne wzory. Wszystkie kiepsko się odbijały kiedy używałam stempla z Blueberry Store i nieźle kiedy używałam innych stempli! Nie mogłam w to uwierzyć! Wyjęłam kilka płytek i odstemplowałam różne, losowe wzory stemplem z Blueberry Store.. oto co otrzymałam:

PERFECT RESULTS!!! The Blueberry Store stamper worked just as good as the Creative Shop stamper with all of the images above.

Frankly I was really surprised to see that the Blueberry Store stamper worked so good after it failed picking up the leave pattern in the beginning (Born Pretty BP-L001 plate). I went back to that image plate and tested other patterns.. They all stamped poorly when I used the Blueberry Store stamper and not bad when I used other stampers! I just couldn't believe that! I took out a bunch of plates and stamped random patterns with the Blueberry Store stamper.. this is what I got:

I tried out the fallowing plates: Bundle Monster BM-XL12, Bundle Monster BM-XL10, Bundle Monster BM-XL07, Born Pretty BP-22, Born Pretty BP-02, Born Pretty BP-09, Pueen 62, Pueen 59, Pueen 64, Born Pretty BP-L010, Born Pretty BP-L001, Born Pretty BP-L012, MoYou London Suki 05, MoYou London Kaleidoscope 06, MoYou London Sailor 04.

To jest najdziwniejsza rzecz jaką widziałam w mojej stemplowej karierze. Stempel z Blueberry Store odbił perfekcyjnie każdy jeden wzór jaki wypróbowałam, z każdej jednej marki płytek oprócz płytek Born Pretty Store XL!!! Nie wiem dlaczego ten fenomen miał miejsce, ale to ewidentnie reguła. Być może płytki BPL nie są tak głęboko grawerowane jak inne płytki. Zauważyłam wcześniej, że praca z nimi jest trudniejsza niż z okrągłymi płytkami BP, więc to może być przyczyną.

Podsumowując - stempel z Blueberry Store jest generalnie świetny, nie lubi tylko płytek Born Pretty XL. Nie pytajcie dlaczego :D Może nie umiem stemplować :D Stempel możecie znaleźć TUTAJ, jest dostępny za 14,9zł.

This is the weirdest thing I've seen in my stamping career! The Blueberry Store stamper stamper perfectly every single pattern I tried, from every single plate brand apart from the Born Pretty Store XL plates!!! I don't know why this phenomenon occured, but it's apparently a rule. Maybe the BPL plates aren't engraved as deep as the other plates. I noticed before that working with them is more difficult that with the round BP plates, so it might be the cause..

In conclusion - the Blueberry Store stamper is generally great, it just doesn't like the Born Pretty XL plates. Don't ask me why :D Maybe I don't know how to stamp :D You can find the stamper HERE, it's available for 14,9zł.
