Początek jesieni to moja ulubiona pora roku. Po długim i pracowitym sezonie mogę trochę odpocząć. Mam też zawsze nadzieję na ciepłą i słoneczną pogodę w tym czasie, dokłądnie taką jak moje dzisiejsze paznokcie :)

The beginning of Autumn is my favourite time of the year. After a long and busy season I get to relax a bit. I also always hope for warm and sunny weather during this time, just like my nails today :)

Moim celem było sprawić żeby to mani było jak najbardziej pogodne, więc wybrałam jasny, ciepły odcień żółci jako bazę. Padło na Golden Rose Rich Color 48. Nałożyłam dwie średnie warstwy żeby uzyskać dobre krycie.

My goal was to make this manicure as cheerful as possible, so I picked a bright, warm shade of yellow for my base. The choice has fallen on Golden Rose Rich Color 48. I applied two medium coats to achieve nice opacity.

Na żółtej bazie zrobiłam stemplowy worek ze słodkimi, malutkimi listkami. Wzór pochodzi z płytki Uber Chic Beauty Lovely Leaves 02 i odbiłam go lakierem Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black.

On the yellow base I stamped a design with cute, tiny leaves. The design comes from Uber Chic Beauty Lovely Leaves 02 plate and I stamped it with Kaleidoscope be El Corazon 01 Black.

Na tym etapie kontury moich listków były gotowe, ale chciałam wypełnić je jesiennymi kolorami. Najprościej było zrobić to przy pomocy sheer tint'ów, ale zanim zaczęłam kolorować wzorek, zabezpieczyłam go top coat'em Kads Smudge Resistant. Ten krok jest dość ważny, ponieważ bez względu na to jak bardzo uważam, zawsze udaje mi się zepsuć stemple podczas nakładania tint'ów.

At this point the outlines of my leaves were ready, but I wanted to fill them in with some Autumn colours. The easiest way to do that is to use sheer tints, but before I started colouring the design, I secured it with Kads Smudge Resistant top coat. This step is pretty important, because no matter how careful I am, I always manage to ruin the stamp while applying tints..

Sheer tint'y jakich użyłam są z Chińskiego Marketu, pisałam o nich TUTAJ. Jak widzicie wypełniłam moje listki czerwienią, pomarańczem i zielenią, użyłam malutkiego pędzelka do zdobień żeby zrobić to jak najprecyzyjniej.

The sheer tints I used are from a Chinese Store, I wrote about them HERE. As You can see I filled my leaves with red, orange and green, I used a tiny nail art brush to get it done as precise as possible.

Kiedy mój wzorek był cały pokolorowany dałam tint'om trochę czasu na wyschnięcie i pokryłam całość INM Out The Door.

When my design was all coloured I gave the tints some time to dry and covered the whole thing with INM Out The Door.

Poinsettia - #glamnailschallengedec

Boże Narodzenie jest coraz bliżej, a miks kolorów w moim mani aż krzyczy Święta. Dzisiaj w wyzwaniu #glamnailschallengedec robimy Poinsecje.

Christmas is closer and closer and the mix of colours in my manicure screams Holidays. Today in #glamnailschallengedec we're doing Poinsettia's.

Najpierw nałożyłam na paznokcie dwa kremowe lakiery jako bazę pod brokaty. Na serdecznym i kciuku jedną warstwę O.P.I Christmas Gone Plaid, a na reszcie paznokci jedną warstwę Kiko 240 Apple Red. Na tym etapie zrobiłam wszelkie poprawki i byłam gotowa żeby przejść do brokatowych lakierów.

First I applied two cream polishes on my nails as a base for the glitters. On my ring finger and thumb one coat of O.P.I Christmas Gone Plaid and on the rest of the nails one coat of Kiko 240 Apple Red. At this point I made all the clean-ups and I was ready to go in with the glitter polishes.

Zielone paznokcie pokryłam China Glaze Glittering Garland (dwie cienkie warstwy), a czerwone China Glaze Ruby Pumps (również dwie warstwy). Być może nie zobaczycie tego na moich zdjęciach, ale ta kombinacja brokatowych lakierów wygląda wspaniale. Próbowałam uchwycić ten efekt na zdjęciach w sztucznym świetle i dodam je na końcu postu, ale w rzeczywistości był o wiele bardziej magiczny.

I covered the green nails with China Glaze Glittering Garland (two thin coats) and the red nails with China Glaze Ruby Pumps (two coats as well). Perhaps You can't see it on my photos, but this combination of glitter polishes looks amazing. I tried to catch this effect on photos in artificial light and will put them in the end of this post, but in real life it's much more magical.

Oba wzory jakie mam na paznokciach pochodzą z płytki Uber Chic Holiday Jingle. Odbiłam je lakierem do stempli Born Pretty Store #1 i pokolorowałam tymi samymi brokatowymi lakierami których uzyłam wcześniej. Na koniec zabezpieczyłam tylko stemple top coat'em Kads i pokryłam wszystko INM Out The Door.

The designs I have on my nails both come from Uber Chic Holiday Jingle plate. I stamped them with Born Pretty Store stamping polish #1 and coloured with the same glitter polishes I used before. In the end I just secured the stamping with Kads top coat and covered the the whole thing with INM Out The Door.

Niestety mam złe wieści.. To będzie prawdopodobnie moje ostatnie zdobienie w #glamnailschallengedec. Musiałam skrócić paznokcie do całkowitych króciaków i myślę, że nie będę miała serca stworzyć na nich czegokolwiek wartego pokazania. Może w przyszłym roku będę miala więcej szczęścia ;)

Unfortunately I have some bad news.. This will probably be my last nail art in #glamnailschallengedec. I had to shorten my nails to total nubs and I think I won't have the heart to create anything worth sharing on them. Maybe I'll have better luck next year.

czas pokazać Wam mój kolejny manicure na Wakacyjny Projekt Paznokciowy. Już prawie kończymy, został tylko jeden tydzień. Tym razem tematem są Kwiatuszki, a w następnym tygodniu będziemy robić zdobienia pod hasłem Geometrycznie.

Hi,

it's time to show You my next manicure for the Summer Vacation Nail Project. We're almost at the end, there's only one week left. This time the theme is Flowers and next week we'll be doing designs associated with Geometry.

W tym mani chciałam zrobić kolorowane stemple, więc lakier bazowy muciał być jasny. Zdecydowałam się użyć bieli i nałożyłam dwie warstwy Safari 56.

In this manicure I wanted to do some coloured stamping, so the base polish had to be fair. I decided to use white and applied two coats of Safari 56.

Następnym krokiem było odbicie kwiatowych wzorów na wszystkich paznokciach. Znalazłam śliczną, lekko abstrakcyjną parę wzorów korespondujących ze sobą na płytki Uber Chic 17-02 i odbiłam je lakierem Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black. Użyłam Stempla Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Silicone Marshmallow. Zabezpieczyłam też wzorki jedną warstwą top coat'u Kads żeby zapobiec rozmazaniu w procesie kolorowania.

The next step was stamping flower designs on all of my nails. I found a lovely, slightly abstract pare of designs corresponding with one another on Uber Chic 17-02 plate and stamped them with Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black. I used Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Silicone Marshmallow Stamper. I also secured the designs with one coat of Kads top coat to prevent smudging during the colouring process.

Do pokolorowania kwiatów wybrałam pięc tintów z kolekcji Gloss Goes Neon firmy P2 i wypełniłam wzory sondą. Użyłam następujących kolorów: Spaceshot (żółty), Bumper Car (pomarańczowy), Carousel (fioletowy), Ferris Wheel (zielony) and Loop-di-loop (różowy). Cały manicure pokryłam też INM Northern Lights Gold.

To colour the flowers I chose five tints from P2's Gloss Goes Neon collection and filled the designs with a dotting tool. I used the following colours: Spaceshot (yellow), Bumper Car (orange), Carousel (purple), Ferris Wheel (green) and Loop-di-loop (pink). I also covered the whole manicure with INM Northern Lights Gold.

Poniżej możecie zobaczyć płytkę UC jakiej użyłam. Myślę, że świetnym pomysłem jest umieszczanie korespondujących wzorów na płytkach do stempli. Dwa z nich zawsze sprawiają, że mani jest bardziej interesujące niż tylko odbicie jednego na wszystkich paznokciach.

Below You can see the UC plate I used. I think it's an amazing idea to put corresponding designs on stamping plates. Two of them always make the manicure much more interesting than just stamping the same one on all of the nails.

Colourful Christmas Baubles.

Tak jak wspominałam w ostatnim poście - choinki koniecznie potrzebują światełek, bombek i innych ozdób. Już widziałyście zdobienie z lampkami na moim blogu, dzisiaj z kolei mam kolorwe bombki.

Just like I mentioned in my last post - Christmas trees obligatorily need lights, baubles and other ornaments. You already saw a nail art with Christmas lights on my blog, today on the other hand I have some colourful baubles.

Ostatnim razem, kiedy robiłam lampki choinkowe użyłam białej bazy. Tym razem chciałam zrobić coś trochę inaczej i wybrałam bardziej waniliowy kolor - Color Club Poetic Hues. Nie jestem pewna która wersja wygląda lepiej, po prostu chciałam spróbować czegoś innego. Nalozyłam dwie warstwy lakieru Color Club i to wystarczyło do pełnego krycia.

Last time, when I did the coloured Christmas lights I used a white base. This time I wanted to do things a bit different and I chose more of a vanilla shade - Color Club Poetic Hues. I'm not sure which version looks better, I just wanted to try something else this time. I applied two coats of the Color Club polish and that was enough for full coverage.

Na tej bazie odbiłam trochę bombek choinkowych z płytki Uber Chic Christmas 02 Stemplem Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL  i lakierem Kaleidoscope 01 Black. Na prawde podoba mi się fakt, że na tej płytce jest sporo wzorów specjalnie przygotowanych do layering'u. Bombki na moim serdecznym i środkowym są właśnei takie, chociaż nie wykorzystałam w pełni ich potencjału. Odbiłam tylko osobno bombki i osobno sznurki, ale Uber Chic dało nam też sposób żeby zrobić kolorowe bombki przy pomocy techniki podwójnego stemplowania. Swoje pokolorowałam tint'ami, ale w przyszłym roku na pewno wypróbuję ten drugi sposób.

On this base I stamped some Christmas baubles from Uber Chic Christmas 02 plate with Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL Stamper and Kaleidoscope 01 Black. I really like that on this plate we have quite a few images specially designed for layering. The baubles I have on my ring and middle finger are like that, although I didn't use their full potential. I just stamped the baubles and the strings separately, but Uber Chic gave as a way to make the baubles colourful with the double stamping technique as well. I coloured mine with tint's this time, but I'll surely use the other way next year.

Jak już wspominałam moje bombki choinkowe są kolorowane tint'ami. Tym razem użyłam moich nowych lakierów P2 Gloss Goes Neon. Kupiłam je w Hebe parę dni temu. Były przecenione o 50%, więc nie mogłam się powstrzymać. Mają one być nakladane na białą bazę i dawać neonowy efekt, ale dla mnie sa idealne do kolorowania stempli. Mają bardzo nasycone kolory, dużo bardziej niż moje tint'y DIY, więc efekt na paznokciach jest inny. W zależności od oczekiwanego rezultaty, fajnie jest mieć alternatywę.

My Christmas baubles are, like I mentioned, coloured with tint's. This time I used my new P2 Gloss Goes Neon polishes. I bought them a few days ago in Hebe. They were 50% off, so I just couldn't resist. They're mend to be applied on a white base to achieve a neon look, but for me they're perfect for colouring stamping designs. They have very saturated colours, a lot more than my DIY tint's, so the effect on the nails is different. Depending on the look we're going for it's nice to have an alternative.

HOW TO: DIY Sheer Tints

Założę się, że słyszałyście już o przeźroczystych tintach, prawda?

I bet You heard about sheer tints by now, right?

Są one zazwyczaj butelkowane jak lakiery do paznokci i są ekstremalnie przeźroczyste. Wpadłam na coś takiego po raz pierwszy lata temu. Przez przypadek wygooglowałam TO mani i nie mogłam uwierzyć własnym oczom. Tinty użyte tutaj to Mia Secret Tints i w tamtym czasie były one trudno dostępne i na prawdę drogie. Tak baaaaaardzo chciałam je mieć, ale nie mogłam sobie na nie pozwolić..

Po pewnym czasie kupiłam te oto Chińskie maleństwa. Już opisywałam cała historię o tym jak je dostałam TUTAJ, ale w skrócie - są z Chińskiego Centrum i bardzo przypominają Mia Secret Tints.

They're usually bottled like nail polishes and they're extremely sheer. I came across something like this for the first time years ago. I googled by accident THIS manicure and couldn't believe my eyes. The tints used here are Mia Secret Tints and at the time they were hard to get and really expensive. I wanted them soooo badly, but just couldn't have them..

After some time I bought these Chinese little babies. I already wrote the whole story about how I got them HERE, but shortly - they're from a Chinese Store and they we're really close to the Mia Secret Tints.

Mijały lata i nie tak dawno O.P.I wypuściło produkt, który zrewolucjonizował lakierowy świat. W mgnieniu oka ich tinty pojawiły się w tak wielu zdobieniach i był użyte na tak wiele sposobów. Nie mogłam w to uwierzyć. Jedyną rzeczą jaka powstrzymała mnie przed natychmiastowym zakupem była ich cena.. Jak zwykle jednak nie trzeba było długo czekać na pojawienie się na rynku podobnych, trochę tańszych produktów, ale równocześnie z tym stało się coś jeszcze. Miłośniczki lakierów zaczęły wymyślać sposoby na tworzenie sheer tint'ów w domu!

Jest wiele tutoriali w internecie o DIY sheer tint'ach. Jednym ze sposobów żeby je zrobić jest rozpuszczenie odrobiny kolorowego lakieru w przeźroczystym, ale przetestowałam tą metodę tylko z czernią. Ja zdecydowałam się użyć tuszy alkoholowych. Moje tusze to Stamperia Colorink'i i kupiłam je w TYM i TYM sklepie internetowym. Mają 14ml, kosztują około 16zł i występują w wielu różnych kolorach. Poniżej możecie zobaczyć moją mała kolekcję ;)

Years passed and not long ago O.P.I lunched a product that revolutionized the polish world. In a blink of an eye their tints appeared in so many nail arts and were used in so many ways. I just couldn't believe it. The one thing that stopped me from buying them right away was their price.. As usual though we didn't have to wait long for similar, a bit cheaper products to appear on the marked, but along with that something else happened. Nail polish lovers started coming up with ways to create sheer tints at home!

There are lots of tutorials on DIY sheer tints on the internet. One way to make them is to just dissolve a bit of coloured nail polish in a clear one, but I only tested this method with black. I decided to use alcohol inks. My inks are Stamperia Colorink's and I bought them from THIS and THIS on-line store. They're 14ml, they cost about 16zł and they come in a lot of different colours. Below You can see my little collection ;)

Kupiłam także dużo przeźroczystych lakierów z Golden Rose żeby w nich rozpuścić tint'y. Ważną rzeczą jest to, że każdy tusz alkoholowy ma inną intensywność w zależności od koloru. Kiedy mieszałam moje przeźroczyste tinty testowałam ile kropli tuszu alkoholowego potrzebuję, żeby uzyskać satysfakcjonujący rezultat dla każdego koloru oddzielnie. Wypiszę dokładne proporcje poniżej, ale jest to bardzo indywidualna kwestia. Musicie zdecydować same jak intensywne tinty chcecie mieć. Czy mają być ciemne i wyraziste czy pastelowe.

Na tą chwilę zrobiłam 19 małych buteleczek.

I also bought a lot of clear nail polishes from Golden Rose to dissolve my tints in. The important thing is that each alcohol ink has different intensity depending on its colour. When I was mixing my sheer tints I tested how many drops of alcohol ink I need to achieve a satisfying result for each colour separately. I'll list the exact proportions below, but it's all a very individual thing. You have to decide for your own how intensive You want your tints to be. Are they supposed to be dark and vibrant or pastel.

For now I made 19 little bottles!

Tutaj są wszystkie kolory jakie stworzyłam położone w jednej warstwie na wzorniku. Nałożyłam też Chińskie Tinty dla porównania, są ponumerowane od 02 do 11 (to są te ciemniejsze).

Here are all on the colours I created layerd in one coat on a wheel. I also applied the Chinese Tints for comparison, they're numbered from 02 to 11 (they're the darker ones).

Sheer tints can be used for so many things that it's hard to enumerate all of them. I mainly use them to colour stamping designs. Here are some of my works using the DIY Tints:

UWAGA: Muszę też wspomnieć, że tusze alkoholowe są przeznaczone do rękodzieła i sztuki, nie do paznokci. Ja używam ich w taki, nie inny sposób na własne ryzyko, tak samo jak każdy kto zdecyduje się podążać za tym tutorialem. Osobiście nie zaobserwowałam żadnego negatywnego wpływu tych tint'ów, ale ostrożność jest zalecana.

CAUTION: I also have to mention that alcohol inks are meant for craftwork and art, not nails. I use them the way I do on my own peril and so does anyone who decides to fallow this tutorial. Pesonally I havn't observed any negative influence of these tints, but caution is advised.
