Goodbye Winter

Hej!

Myślę, że możemy spokojnie uznać zimę za zakończoną. Nawet tutaj, w południowo-wschodniej części Polski ;) Oznacza to, że jest ostatni moment na spóźnione śnieżne mani i zaraz potem - na powiedzenie śnieżynkom dowidzenia na jakiś czas. Oto jak ja chciałabym pożegnać zimowy sezon.

I think it's safe to say that winter is over. Even here, in the south-east part of Poland ;) This means it's the last moment to post some late snowy manicures and after that - to say goodbye to snowflakes for a while. Here's how I'd like to see off the winter season.

Bazowy kolor w tym mani to czarny. Nałożyłam dwie warstwy Kiko 275 Black na każdy paznokieć i poczekałam aż wyschnie.

 

The base colour in this manicure was black. I applied two coats of Kiko 275 Black on each of my nails and waited for that to dry.

Główną atrakcją tutaj jest oczywiście holo. Mam nadzieję, że możecie zobaczyć chociaż odrobinę jego wspaniałości na moich zdjęciach (pierwsze trzy są w sztucznym świetle). To ILNP Mega (S) i nałożyłam na paznokcie dwie warstwy.

The main attraction here is obviously the holo. I hope You can see at least a glimpse of it's awesomeness on my photos (the first three are in artificial light). It's ILNP Mega (S) and I put two coats on my nails.

Ta wersja holograficznego top coat'u ILNP jest rozproszone, ale jarównież w nim widziałam liniowo układającą się tęczę. Uwierzcie kiedy Wam powiem, że nie mogłam przestać gapić się na moje paznokcie kiedy wyszlam wieczorem z domu. Ten manicure wyglądam taaaak niesamowicie w świetle lamp ulicznym. Był na prawdę zapierający dech w piersiach.

This version of the ILNP holographic top coat is the scattered one, but I did see the linear rainbow in it as well. Believe me when I tell You, that I couldn't stop staring on my nails when I went out in the evening. This manicure looked soooo amazing under the street lights. It was truly breathtaking.

Oprócz oślepiającego efektu holo, miałam też na paznokciach fajny śnieżynkowy wzór stemplowy. Pochodzi on z płytki Uber Chic Christmas 02. Użyłam do zrobienia go lakieru Kaleidoscope 01 Black i Stempla B. Loves Plates Jumbo.

Aside from the blinding holo effect, I also had a nice snowflake stamping design on my nails. It comes from Uber Chic Christmas 02 plate. I used Kaleidoscope 01 Black polish and B. Loves Plates Jumbo Stamper to do it.

Zdjęcia jakie tutaj widzicie są w świetle naturalnym. Holo było wciąż widoczne, ale nie az tak spektakularne. Moje zdobienie było też pokryte warstwą top coat'u, który mógł lekko stłumić efekt.

The photos You can see here are in natural light. The holo was still visible, but not as spectacular. My nail art is also covered with a layer of top coat, so it might have slightly dulled the effect.

Colourful Christmas Baubles.

Tak jak wspominałam w ostatnim poście - choinki koniecznie potrzebują światełek, bombek i innych ozdób. Już widziałyście zdobienie z lampkami na moim blogu, dzisiaj z kolei mam kolorwe bombki.

Just like I mentioned in my last post - Christmas trees obligatorily need lights, baubles and other ornaments. You already saw a nail art with Christmas lights on my blog, today on the other hand I have some colourful baubles.

Ostatnim razem, kiedy robiłam lampki choinkowe użyłam białej bazy. Tym razem chciałam zrobić coś trochę inaczej i wybrałam bardziej waniliowy kolor - Color Club Poetic Hues. Nie jestem pewna która wersja wygląda lepiej, po prostu chciałam spróbować czegoś innego. Nalozyłam dwie warstwy lakieru Color Club i to wystarczyło do pełnego krycia.

Last time, when I did the coloured Christmas lights I used a white base. This time I wanted to do things a bit different and I chose more of a vanilla shade - Color Club Poetic Hues. I'm not sure which version looks better, I just wanted to try something else this time. I applied two coats of the Color Club polish and that was enough for full coverage.

Na tej bazie odbiłam trochę bombek choinkowych z płytki Uber Chic Christmas 02 Stemplem Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL  i lakierem Kaleidoscope 01 Black. Na prawde podoba mi się fakt, że na tej płytce jest sporo wzorów specjalnie przygotowanych do layering'u. Bombki na moim serdecznym i środkowym są właśnei takie, chociaż nie wykorzystałam w pełni ich potencjału. Odbiłam tylko osobno bombki i osobno sznurki, ale Uber Chic dało nam też sposób żeby zrobić kolorowe bombki przy pomocy techniki podwójnego stemplowania. Swoje pokolorowałam tint'ami, ale w przyszłym roku na pewno wypróbuję ten drugi sposób.

On this base I stamped some Christmas baubles from Uber Chic Christmas 02 plate with Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL Stamper and Kaleidoscope 01 Black. I really like that on this plate we have quite a few images specially designed for layering. The baubles I have on my ring and middle finger are like that, although I didn't use their full potential. I just stamped the baubles and the strings separately, but Uber Chic gave as a way to make the baubles colourful with the double stamping technique as well. I coloured mine with tint's this time, but I'll surely use the other way next year.

Jak już wspominałam moje bombki choinkowe są kolorowane tint'ami. Tym razem użyłam moich nowych lakierów P2 Gloss Goes Neon. Kupiłam je w Hebe parę dni temu. Były przecenione o 50%, więc nie mogłam się powstrzymać. Mają one być nakladane na białą bazę i dawać neonowy efekt, ale dla mnie sa idealne do kolorowania stempli. Mają bardzo nasycone kolory, dużo bardziej niż moje tint'y DIY, więc efekt na paznokciach jest inny. W zależności od oczekiwanego rezultaty, fajnie jest mieć alternatywę.

My Christmas baubles are, like I mentioned, coloured with tint's. This time I used my new P2 Gloss Goes Neon polishes. I bought them a few days ago in Hebe. They were 50% off, so I just couldn't resist. They're mend to be applied on a white base to achieve a neon look, but for me they're perfect for colouring stamping designs. They have very saturated colours, a lot more than my DIY tint's, so the effect on the nails is different. Depending on the look we're going for it's nice to have an alternative.
