Autumn Letter

Jak Wam się podobaja pierwsze dni jesieni? W moim mieście pogoda była już od jakiegoś czasu na prawdę ponura, strasznie padało i nie było ani odrobiny słońca.. Na szczęście od wczoraj jest lepiej. Wyszło słońce i mój nastrój natychmiast się poprawił. Lubię jesień, ale tylko tą słoneczną i złotą. Obym nie zapeszyła mówiąc, że w końcu przyszła.

How do You like the first days of Autumn? In my town the weather was really gloomy for a while now, it was raining a lot and we didn't get even a bit of sun.. Thankfully since yesterday it's a lot better. The sun came out and my mood improved immediately. I like Autumn, but only the sunny, golden type. I hope I don't jinx it by saying that it finally came :)

Nadejście tak pięknej, jesiennej pogody aż sie prosi o zdobienie. Planowałam cos takiego już w zeszłym roku, ale nie miałam czasu zmalować. Mam nadzieję, że spodoba Wam się mój Jesienny List.

The arrival of such beautiful fall weather calls out for a nail art. I planned something like this last year, but didn't have the time to put it on my nails. I hope You like my Autumn Letter manicure.

Bazowy kolor jakiego użyłam to Color Club Leaf Me Alone i jest to idealny odcień żółtawego beżu. Nałożyłam trzy średnie warstwy żeby uzyskać pełne krycie, ale z kolorami tak jasnymi jak ten to standardowa ilość. Konsystencja była przyjemna , więc nawet nie miałam pretensji o te trzy warstwy.

The base colour I used is Color Club Leaf Me Alone and it's a perfect yellow toned beige shade. I applied three medium coats to achieve full opacity, but with colours as light as this one it's a standard amount. The formula was pleasant to work with, so I didn't even mind the three coats.

Kiedy mój lakier bazowy wysechł całkowicie odbiłam wzór imitujący odręczne pismo z mini płytki Uber Chic Paris In Love lakierem Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black. Użyłam Stempla Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Silicone Marshmallow, dzięki któremu wzór jest umieszczony idealnie prosto. Moim następnym krokiem było dodanie liści. Są to stemplowe naklejki zrobione na kilku przezroczystych stemplach i pokolorowane szeroką gamą jesiennych odcieni. Wszystkie listkowe wzory pochodzą z płytki Lina Nail Art Supplies 4 Seasons - Autumn 01, a pokolorowane były następującymi lakierami: Color Cub Almost Famous (żółty), Color Club Oh Deer (jasny brąz), Essie Fear & Desire (ciemny pomarańcz), Kiko 356 Mango (jasny pomarańcz), China Glaze Budding Romance (oliwkowa zieleń). Tak jak zawsze zdobienie było pokryte top coat'em Kads i INM Out The Door.

When my base polish dried completely I stamped a design imitating handwriting from Uber Chic Paris In Love mini plate with Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black. I used Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Silicone Marshmallow Stamper, thanks to which the design is placed perfectly straight. My next step was adding the leaves. They are stamping decals made on a bunch of clear stampers and coloured with a wide range of fall shades. All of the leaf designs come from Lina Nail Art Supplies 4 Seasons - Autumn 01 plate and they were coloured with the fallowing polishes: Color Cub Almost Famous (yellow), Color Club Oh Deer (light brown), Essie Fear & Desire (dark orange), Kiko 356 Mango (light orange), China Glaze Budding Romance (olive green). Just like always the nail art was covered with Kads top coat and INM Out The Door.

Drogi Mikołaju..

Dear Santa..

Boże Narodzenie zbliża się z każdym dniem i już najwyższy czas napisać list do Św. Mikołaja. Mam nadzieję, że byłyście grzeczne w tym roku i wszystkie dostaniemy nasze wymarzone prezenty! Ja oczywiście nie zostawiłam tego samemu Mikołajowi, to taki zajęty człowiek.. Po prostu zamówiłam wszystko z mojej wishlisty w okolicy Czarnego Piątku i powiedziałam sobie, że to wczesny prezent gwiazdkowy :D A skoro jesteśmy w temacie listów do Mikołaja, zdecydowałam się zrobić pasujący manicure.

Christmas is closer and closer every day and it's about time to write a letter to Santa Claus. I hope You were good this year, so we can all get our dream presents! I of course didn't leave this to Santa himself, he's such a busy man.. I just ordered everything that was on my wishlist somewhere around Black Friday and told myself it's an early Christmas gift :D And since we're in the subject of letters to Santa, I decided to do a fitting manicure.

Kolor bazowy na moich paznokciach to Color Club Poetic Hues. Nałożyłam dwie warstwy i zaczekałam aż całkiem wyschną. Moim kolejnym krokiem było odbicie wzoru z odręcznym pismem z płytki Ubet Chic Mini Paris In Love Stemplem Uber Chic XL Sticky. Użyłam lakieru do stempli Colour Alike & B. Loves Plates B. a Dark Knight.

The base colour on my nails is Color Club Poetic Hues. I applied two coats and waited for them to completely dry. My next step was stamping a design with handwriting from Uber Chic Mini Paris In Love plate with Uber Chic XL Sticky Stamper. I used Colour Alike & B. Loves Plates B. a Dark Knight stamping polish.

Żeby to mani było bożonarodzeniowym zdobieniem dodałam naklejki stemplowe z jemiołą. Wzór pochodzi z płytki MoYou London Festive 03. odbiłam go przy pomocy tego samego czarnego lakieru do stempli co wcześniejsze pismo i pokolorowałam na gumce od stempla Kiko 391 Grass Green i Joko J120 Sexy Lady. Kiedy moje naklejki były suche odbiłam je prosto ze stempla na paznokcie. Użyłam Stempla B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear żeby widzieć dokładnie co koloruję i gdzie na paznokciu przyklejam gotową naklejkę. Na koniec dodałam trochę więcej czerwonego na jagódkach jemioły, ponieważ nie były wystarczająco widoczne. Użyłam czerwonego lakieru Joko i małej sondy.

To make this manicure a Christmas themed nail art I added  some mistletoe stamping decals. The design comes from MoYou London Festive 03 plate. I stamped it with the same black stamping polish as the handwriting before and coloured it on the stamper head with Kiko 391 Grass Green and Joko J120 Sexy Lady. When my decals were dry I just stamped them on the nail directly from the stamper head. I used the B. Loves Plate Crystal Clear Stamper for this to see exactly what I'm colouring and where on the nail I'm sticking the finished decal. In the end I added some more red on the mistletoe berries because they weren't visible enough. I used the red Joko polish and a small dotting tool.

Całość pokryłam jedną warstwą top coat'u Kads i jedną warstwę INM Out The Door. Zdobienie jest nienaruszone i tym razem nie zauważyłam żadnych smug czy pociągnięć pędzelka na powierzchni.

I covered the whole thing with one coat of Kads top coat and one coat of INM Out The Door. The nail art is intact and his time I didn't see any smudges or brush stokes on the surface.

Mint And Lace

Dalej mam Wam do pokazania sporo mani, więc to które zobaczycie dzisiaj jest dość stare.. Mam jednak nadzieje, że Wam przypadnie do gustu. Mi osobiście strasznie się podobało jak koronkowy wzór wyglądał na paznokciach.

I still have a lot of manicures to show You, so the one You'll see today is quite old.. I hope You'll like it though. I personally loved the way the lace design looked on the nails.

Tak jak sugeruje tytuł posta, bazą w tym mani jest bardzo żywy odcień mięty. Użyłam dwóch warstw Kiko 526 Mint. Już prawdopodobnie wiecie jak bardzo lubię lakiery Kiko, ale uwierzcie jak napiszę to po raz kolejny - te produkty są tak proste w obsłudze, kryjące i mają precyzyjny kształt pędzelka.

Just like the title of the post indicates, the base in this manicure is a very vibrant shade of mint. I used two coats of Kiko 526 Mint. You probably know by now how much I like Kiko polishes, but believe me when I write it again - these products are so easy to work with, opaque and have a precise brush shape.

Uroczy koronkowy wzór jakiego tutaj użyłam pochodzi z płytki Uber Chic Paris In Love. Odbiłam go lakierem do stempli Colour Alike Kind Of Black i Stempla B. Loves Plates Jumbo. Jak widzicie ta kombinacja zadziałała świetnie, wzór przeniósł się perfekcyjnie.

The lovely lace design I used here comes from Uber Chic Paris In Love plate. I stamped it with Colour Alike Kind Of Black stamping polish and B. Loves Plates Jumbo Stamper. As You can see this combination worked amazing, the design transferred perfectly.

Jak zwykle zabezpieczyłam mani jedna warstwą Golden Rose Gel Look, który jest (jak narazie) jedynym top coat'em nierozmazującym ekstremalnie zdobień. Ostatnio jednak mam wrażenie, że firma coś zmieniła, bo coraz częściej zdarza mi się zniszczyć manicure nakładając ten top coat. Zawsze czekam dość długo po odbiciu wzoru, więc jestem pewna, że wysechł całkowicie, ale nawet wtedy top coat go rozmazuje. Dzieje się to również z każdym lakierem do stempli. Fakt, mam ciężką rękę i tendencję do dociskania pędzelka do paznokcia podczas nakładania lakieru i top coat'u. To głównie dlatego rozmazywanie ma miejsce, ale kilka buteleczek temu nie musiałam być aż tak ekstremalnie ostrożna z tym konkretnym top'em. Ostatnimi czasy czuję, że muszę prawie trzymać pędzelek w powietrzu żeby uniknąć rozmazania nail art'u. Jeśli macie jakieś podpowiedzi top coat'owe albo sprawdzone produkty, dajcie mi proszę znać w komentarzach.

As usual I secured my nail art with one coat of Golden Rose Gel Look, which is the only top coat (so far) that doesn't extremely smudge nail art. Recently though I have a feeling that the brand changed something, because more and more often I ruin my manicure applying this top coat. I always wait quite a while after stamping the design, so I'm sure it dries fully, but even then the top coat smears it. This also happens with every brand of stamping polishes. I do have a heavy hand and tend to press the brush onto the nail when I apply nail polish or top coat. that's mainly why smudging happens, but a few bottles ago I didn't have to be so extremely cautious with this particular top coat. Nowadays I feel like I almost have to hold the brush in the air to avoid smearing my nail art. If You have any top coat tips, or verified products please let me know in the comments.
