it's time for another Dewi nail polishes review. I have two nice blues to show You, but this post is also a little presentation and comparison of the bottles Dewi uses..
Jak mogliście zobaczyć w moich poprzednich recenzjach stare butelki były okrągłe i miały 10ml. Zakrętka była szeroka i krótka, ale nie czułam dyskomfotru trzymając ją podczas malowania paznokci. Nowe byteleczki są prtostokątne, smuklejsze i mają 9ml. Mają dłuższą zakrętkę, więc dla niektórych osób trzymanie pędzelka może być łatwiejsze. Pędzelki się nie zmieniły (może odrobinkę na końcu, albo to przypadek). Dalej są średnio szerokie, ścięte prosto, nie za długie i na prawdę łatwe w użyciu.
As You could see in my previous reviews the old bottles were round and had 10ml. The cap was wide and short, but I didn't feel any discomfort holding it while I painted my nails. The new bottles are rectangular, slimmer and have 9ml. They have a longer cap, so for some people holding the brush can be easier. The brushes haven't changed (maybe a tiny bit on the end, or it's a coincidence). They're still medium wide, cut straight, not too long and really easy to use.
Pewne zmiany zostały poczynione w etykietowaniu. Wcześniej mieliśmy nazwę firmy, logo i wielkośc buteleczki z przodu i to się tylko nieznacznie zmieniło, logo jest większe a nazwa mniejsza. Z tyłu mogliśmy zobaczyć całą listę składników, kilka symboli i szczegóły dotyczące dystrybucji. Każdy produkt miał dodatkową naklejkę z kodem kreskowym, numerem lakieru i datą ważności. Nowe buteleczki nie mają "tylniej etykiety", mają tylko naklejkę z trochę większą ilością informacji niż wcześniej.
Some changes were made in labelling. Before we had the name of the
brand, logo and the size of the bottle on the front and that changed
just slightly, making the logo bigger and the name smaller. On the back
we could see the whole ingredients list, some symbols and the
distribution details. Each product had an additional sticker with a bar
code, the polish number and an expiration date. The new bottles don't
have a "back label", they only have a sticker with a little more
information than before.

To delikatny niebieski krem. Użyłam dwóch grubszych warstw żaby całkowicie pokryć paznokcie. Aplikacja był dobra i nawet mimo malowania na parwde grubych warstw nie było bąbelków. Na moich zdjęciach widzicie lakier bez top coat'u, więc idealna, blyszcząca powierzchnia to całkowicie zasługa Dewi.
It's a delicate blue cream. I used two thick coats to cover my nails fully. The application went well and even though I painted really thickly there were no bubbles. On my photos You can see the polish without top coat, so the perfect, glossy surface is all Dewi's doing.

Ten lakier również zdaje się kremowy na początku, ale ma w sobie też troche jelly. Nie powiedziałabym, że jest to 100% crelly, ale blisko. Wspominałam w moich poprzednich recenzjach, że niektóre lakiery Dewi mają takie specyficzne wykończenie i ten jest podobny. To dużo ciemniejszy odcień niebieskiego i ma niesamowity błysk. Będziecie potrzebować 2-3 warstw żeby pokryć paznokci. Mi udało się ujść z dwoma, ale w rzeczywistości delikatnie było widać końcówki moich paznokci. Zdjęcia jak zwykle, bez top coat'u
This polish also seems cream at first, but it has a bit of jelly too. I wouldn't say it's 100% crelly, but close. I mentioned in my previous reviews, that some Dewi polishes have this specific finish and this one is similar. It's a much darker shade of blue and has an amazing shine. You'll need 2-3 coats to cover the nails. I managed to get away with two, but in real life you could slightly see the tips of my nails. Photos without cop coat, as usual.
Więc tutaj macie lakier, teraz chciałabym podzielić się z Wami tym co myślę. Widzę głównie zalety zmian jakie zrobiło Dewi. Nowe butelki lepiej przechowywać i jest to dosć ważne jeśli ma się sporo ponad 500 lakierów ;) Otwierają się też łatwiej ze względu na krawędzie po bokach. Niestety przyminają mi też na prawde tanie lakiery jak Lemax.. To w zasadzie nie jest nic złego, bo lakiery Dewi zasadniczo mają niską cenę i lubię lakiery Lemaź, ale jest to coś co przyszło mi do głowy jak tylko je pierwszy raz zobaczyłam. Nie wiem dlaczego, ale jakoś okrągłe butelki wyglądały bardziej jak Virtual czy nawet Colour Alike i w mojej głowie pojawiała się myśl o wyższej półce cenowej.
Na prawdę nienawidzę naklejek.. Po pierwsze jak mogłyście zobaczyć na zdjęciach napisy na starych miały w zwyczaju się ścierać (niektóte całkiem znikneły).. Myślę, że nowe też mają do tego tendencję. Po drugie nie lubię kiedy coś innego niż etykieta jest przyklejone do boków zakrętki czy butelki, od razu wygląda dla mnie jak cena i mam chęc to zerwać. Kiedy na naklejce jest tylko kod kreskowy to właśnie tak robię, że zrywam je z każdego mojego lakieru, ale te mają tam numer lakieru.. Muszę zrobić dla tych lakierów nowe etykiety z numeremi na mojej etykietownicy i przykleić na dwie butelki albo na wierzchu zakrętki.. Kolejką kwestią jest to, że na prawdę lubię jak lakiery mają nazy, nie numery. Nie tylko lepiej je zapamietać i na prawdę nie miałam problemu ze spamiętaniem moich 500 czy 800 "nazwanych" lakierów. Jest to też fajniejsze i sprawia, że marka wygląda jakby ją to bardziej obchodziło.
Ale cóż, to wszystko to tylko moje myślenei na głos. Dajcie mi znać jakie są Wasze opinie i moze taka lakierowa marka weżmie je pod uwagę ;)
So here You have the polishes, now I'd like to share with You my thoughts. I mostly see pros in the changes made by Dewi. The new bottles store better and that's quite important when You have way over 500 polishes ;) They also open easier, because fo the edges on the sides. Unfortunately they also remind me of really cheap polishes like Lemax.. It's not exactly a bad thing, because Dewi polishes actually have a low price and I do like Lemax nail polishes, but that's just something that popped into my head when I saw them for the first time. I don't know why, but somehow the round bottles looked more like Virtual or even Colour Alike and in my mind I thought of a higher price range.
I seriously hate the stickers.. First of all as You can see on the photos the writing on the old ones used to rub off (some disappeared completely).. I think the new ones have the same tendency. Secondly I don't like when there's something stuck on the sides of the cap or the bottle other than the label, it immediately looks like a price sticker for my and I have the urge to peel it off. When there's only the bar code on the sticker I actually do peel off every one of them off my polishes, but these ones have the polish number there.. I have to make new labels with the numbers on my label maker for these polishes and stick them on the bottom of the bottle or on the top of the cap.. Another thing is that I really like when polishes have names, not numbers. It's not only easier to remember them and I seriously had no problem remembering my 500 or 800 "named" polishes. It's also nicer and makes the brand look like they care more.
But well, all of this is just me thinking out loud. Let my know what are Your opinions and maybe this polish brand will take them under consideration ;)
