I'm really behind with my reviews, so in the next few post I'll try to show You some of my new products. Today I'll be writing about one of the Born Pretty Store Holographic Cat Eye nail polishes.

Kolor jaki sobie wybrałam to BP-HM05 Stunning Makeup. Ma on śliwkową bazę ze złotą, magnetyczną smugą i toną holograficznego brokatu. Możecie go znaleźć TUTAJ, numer produktu ID #45265.

The colour I chose is BP-HM05 Stunning Makeup. It has a plum base with a golden magnetic stripe and tons of holographic glitter. You can find it HERE, product ID #45265.

Na moich zdjęciach kolor tego lakieru wydaje się bardzo ciemny, ale to dlatego, że pod spód dałam warstwę kremowego lakieru. Zawsze tak robię, ponieważ łatwiej mi wyczyścić skórki kiedy mam na paznokciach zwykły lakier, bez drobinek. Ten trick gwarantuje też osiągnięcie lepszego krycia oraz ułatwia zmywanie brokatowych lakierów. Przy tym mani moją bazą był Essie Recessionista, więc prawdopodobnie pogłębił on kolor moich paznokci.

On my photos the colour of this polish appears to be very dark, but that's because I put a layer of cream polish underneath it. I always do that, because it's easier for me do cuticle clean-ups when I have a plain polish on my nails, without any particles. This trick also ensures achieving better coverage and makes removing glitter polishes easier. In this manicure my base was Essie Recessionista, so it probably deepened the colour of my nails.

Born Pretty Store BP-HM05 Stunning Makeup nakładał się dobrze, a złota, magnetyczna smuga była ładnie widoczna. Nałożyłam dwie warstwy BPS na jedną warstwę Essie Recessionista i namagnesowałam obie. Nie jestem pewna czy to konieczne. Myślę, że skończyłabym z takim samym wynikiem magnesując tylko ostatnią warstwę. Z drugiej strony na koniec nałożyłam Sally Hansen Insta Dri i również użyłam magnesu. Robię tak za każdym razem gdy używam lakieru magnetycznego i robi to różnicę. Top coat rozpuszcza trochę lakier pod spodem i kiedy używamy magnesu na tym etapie, zbieramy metaliczne drobinki sprawiając, że złota smuga jest jeszce bardziej widoczna i skoncentrowana. Szybkoschnący top coat jakby pieczętuje też efekt. Tak szybko wysycha, że drobinki nie mają czasu się nigdzie ruszyć kiedy zabieramy magnes. Zostają w postaci wzoru jaki stworzyliśmy. Przynajmniej wydaje mi się, że to właśnie się tutaj dzieje :D

Born Pretty Store BP-HM05 Stunning Makeup applied good and the golden magnetic stripe was nicely visible. I applied two coats of BPS over one coat of Essie Recessionista and magnetized both of them. I'm not sure if it's necessary. I think I would end up with the same result magnetizing just the last coat. On the other hand in the end I added one coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri and used a magnet as well. I do this every time I use a magnetic polish and it really makes a difference. The top coat dissolves the polishes underneath it a bit and when we use a magnet at this point, we gather the metallic particles making the gold stripe even more visible and more concentrated. A fast drying top coat also kind of seals the effect. It dries so quickly that the particles don't have the time to move any more when we take away the magnet. They stay put, in the pattern we created. At least that's what I thing is happening here :D

Tak jak głosi nazwa - ten lakier na prawdę jest oszałamiający. Jestem ogromną fanką lakierów magnetycznych w ogóle, zwłąszcza tych z deobinkami w środku. Było do przewidzenia, że ten też mi się spodoba, ale jest nawet lapszy niż myślałam. Kombinacja kolorów wygląda tak elegancko, złoto sprawia, że jest bogaty, jakby wyrafinowany, a holo drobinki dają mani dodatkowego blasku.

 

Just like the name says - this polish really is stunning. I'm a big fan of magnetic polishes in general, especially the ones with glitter in them. It was predictable that I would like this one as well, but it's even better than I thought it would be. The colour combination looks so elegant, the gold makes it rich, sort of sophisticated and the holo glitter gives the manicure an additional spark.

Jak podoba Wam się ten lakier? Jestem pewna, że każda sroka taka jak ja będzie bardzo z niego zadowolona ;) W tej chwili jest dostępny za 4,39$. Nie jest to tanio za tą małą buteleczkę (której nie jestem wielką fanką), ale lakier na prawdę jest tego wart!

How do You like this polish? I'm sure any glitter junky like me will be very pleased with it ;) At this moment it's available for 4,39$. That's not cheap for this little bottle (which I'm not a big fan of), but the polish is really worth it!

Masura Magnetic Polish & Double Stamping

Dzisiaj zdecydowałam się pokazać Wam manicure z jednym z moich ulubionych magnetycznych lakierów - Masura Magellanic Clouds. Jestem całkowicie zakochana w całej kolekcji Magnetic Gradient, ale ten konkretny lakier ma tak świetną kombinację kolorystyczną. Żadne zdjęcie nie jest w stanie go oddać. Już widzieliście go w jednym z moich Halloween'owych mani (TUTAJ), tym razem sparowałam go z odrobiną złota.

Today I decided to show You a manicure with one of my favourite magnetic polishes - Masura Magellanic Clouds. I absolutely love the whole Magnetic Gradient collection, but this particular polish has such an amazing colour combination. No photo is able to give it justice. You have already seen it in one of my Halloween manicures (HERE), this time I pared it with a bit of gold.

Zawsze maluję magnetycznymi lakierami po jakiejść kremowej bazie. Tym razem użyłam China Glaze Charmed I'm Sure (jedną grubsza warstwa). Kiedy baza całkowicie wyschła i wyczyściłam wokół skórek co było konieczne, zaczęłam nakładać Masura Magellanic Clouds. Skończyło się na tym, że pomalowałam dwie warstwy, ale lakier krył ładnie po pierwszej. Magnetyzowałam każdy paznokcieć i każdą warstwę lakieru, jak również końcowy rezultat kiedy pokryłam zdobienie top coat'em Kads. Nie jestem pewna czy jest to coś co musimy robić. Myślę, że można byłoby pomalować dwie warstwy lakieru magnetycznego, przyłożyć magnes i zostawić już tak.

I always paint magnetic polishes over a cream base. This time I used China Glaze Charmed I'm Sure (one thicker coat). When the base dried fully and I made the necessary clean-ups around my cuticles I started applying Masura Magellanic Clouds. I ended up painting two coats, but the polish covered nicely after the first one. I magnetized each nail and each coat of the polish, as well as the end result when I covered the nail art with Kads top coat. I'm not sure if that's actually something we have to do. I think we could paint two coats of the magnetic polish, magnetize them and leave it at that.

Od początku wiedziałam, że chcę na tej bazie zrobić podwójne stemple. Wybrałam wzór z płytki Uber Chic 4-01 i odbiłam go Stemplem B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear. Użyłam lakieru do stempli Born Pretty Store #1 i Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black.

From the very beginning I knew I wanted to do a double stamping nail art over this base. I picked a design from Uber Chic 4-01 plate and stamped it with B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear Stamper. I used Born Pretty Store #1 stamping polish and Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 01 Black.

Masura Magnetic Polish Supernovae

Nie tak dawno całkowicie zakochałam się w Magnetycznych Lakierach Masura. Wynalazek nie jest czymś nowym, swego czasu nawet Essence miało swoje własne lakiery magnetyczne, ale te og Masury są dużo bardziej spektakularne. Zwłaszcza kolory z drobinkami, na prawdę przyprawiają mnie o szybsze bicie serca. Zrobiłam już dwa mani z użyciem Lakierów Magnetycznych Masura TUTAJ i TUTAJ, oba z wzorkami stemplowymi. Dzisiaj chciałabym Wam pokazać kolejny kolor, tym razem solo.

Not long ago I totally fell in love with Masura Magnetic Polishes. This invention isn't a new thing, even Essense had their own magnetic polishes at one point, but the Masura ones are so much more spectacular. Especially the glittery colours, they really make my heart beat faster. I already did two manicures using Masura Magnetic Polishes HERE and HERE, both of them with some stamping. Today I'd like to show You another colour, this time solo.

Lakier jaki możecie zobaczyć na moich paznokciach to Masura Supernovae. Pochodzi on z kolekcji Magnetic Gradient (osobiście mojej ulubionej kolekcji), a kupiłam go w sklepie Hypnotic Polish. Lakier ten jest opisywany jaki głęboki, przydymiony pomarańcz, ale ja bym powiedziała, że to bardziej brązowawy kolor z odrobina pomarańczu i może zieleni. Ma on fioletowy i czerwony shimmer (którego nie widać na paznokci) jak również mnóstwo holograficznych drobinek. Dokładnie jak producent sugeruje nałożyłam go na czarną bazę. Użyłam dwóch warstw Kiko 275 Black.

The polish You can see on my nails is Masura Supernovae. It comes from the Magnetic Gradient collection (my personal favourite collection) and I got it form Hypnotic Polish. This polish is described as a deep smoky orange, but I would say it's more of a brownish colour with a hint of orange and maybe green. It has a purple and red shimmer (that doesn't appear on the nail) as well as lots of holographic particles. Just like the producer suggests I applied it on a black base. I used two coats of Kiko 275 Black.

Aplikacja magnetycznych lakierów jest trochę bardziej czasochłonna niż regularnych lakierów. Osobiście wolę nakładać dwie warstwy i magnesować każdą z osobna. Lakiery Masura nie koniecznie wymagają dwóch warstw, są bardzo kryjące, ale ja wolę się upewnić. Lakiery też bardzo szybko schną, więc musimy magnesować każdy paznokcieć zaraz po pomalowaniu. Zauważyłam, że najlepiej jest nakładać grubsze wartwy, w jak najmniejszej ilości pociągnięć. Kiedy moje warstwy były cieńsze albo aplikacja zajmowała za dużo czasu była szansa, że boki paznokci będą wysychać i magnes nie skupi metalicznych drobinek z tych obszarów. Użyłam Magnesu Masura Precious Stones i magnesowałam każdą warstwę lakieru jakieś 20 sekund.

The application of magnetic polishes is a bit more time consuming than regular polishes. I personally prefer to apply two coats and I magnetize each one. The Mausra polishes don't necessarily require two coats, they're very opaque, but I just like to make sure. The polishes also dry quite fast, so we have to magnetize each nail right after we end up painting it. I noticed it's best to paint a thicker coat in as little strokes as possible. When my coats were thinner or the application process took to much time there was a chance the sides of my nail would dry and the magnet wouldn't draw the metallic particles from those areas. I used Masura Precious Stones Magnet and I magnetized each coat of polish for about 20 seconds.

Zawsze używam top coat'u INM Out The Door żeby zabezpieczyć swoje mani. W tym wypadku też tak zrobiłam, ale ponieważ top coat reaguje z lakierem pod spodem i sprawia, że znów rozmaka - namagnesowałam paznokcie po raz trzeci. Jeśli pominiemy ten krok, smuga metalicznego pułu staje się mniej zdefiniowana. Jeśli namagnesujemy - możemy poprawić wzór jaki chcemy osiągnąć albo sprawić, że będzie bardziej nasycony.

I always use INM Out The Door top coat to secure my manicures. In this case I also did that, but because the top coat reacts with the polish underneath and makes it wet again - I magnetized my nails for the third time. If we ignore this step, the bar of metallic dust becomes less defined. If we magnetize - we can improve the pattern we wanted to achieve or make it more saturated.

Ostatnio zrobiłam zamówienie na Hypnotic Polish i oprócz innych rzeczy wzięłam też sporo magnetycznych lakierów Masura. Już widziałyście jeden z nich w moim mani pt. Różowy Cmentarz, a dzisiaj chciałabym pokazać Wam kolejny.

Lately I made an order on Hypnotic Polish and among other things I got quite a few magnetic polishes from Masura. You've already seen one of them in my Pink Cemetery manicure and today I'd like to show You another one.

Sklep oferujący te magnetyczne lakiery sugeruje nakładanie ich na czarną bazę i ponieważ większość z nich ma w sobie brokat, tak czy owak nakładałabym je na kremowy lakier. W tym przypadku nie wybrałam jednak czerni, a bardzo ciemny szary (Kiko 382 Pearly Gunmetal) i nałożyłam jedną grubszą warstwę. Lakier Kiko jest tak napigmentowany, że ta jedna warstwa dała mi pełne krycie. Na tym etapie zrobiłam wszystkie konieczne poprawki przy skórkach i sięgnęłam po Masura Glaxy Collisions.

The shop offering these magnetic polishes suggest to put them over a black base and because most of them have glitter, I would paint a cream polish under them either way. In this case I didn't pick black though, but a very dark grey (Kiko 382 Pearly Gunmetal) and applied it in one thick coat. The Kiko polish is so pigmented, that this one coat gave me full opacity. At this point I made all the necessary clean-ups in the cuticle area and reached for Masura Galaxy Collisions.

Magnetyczny lakier nakładałam po jednym paznokciu, ponieważ musimy jak najszybciej namagnetyzować powierzchnię żeby otrzymać najlepszy efekt. Tym razem chciałam uzyskać okrągły wzór na paznokciach, więc użyłam magnesu Dance Legend Magnetic Pen żeby stworzyć ciemniejszy obszar na środku każdego paznokcia. Muszę przyznać, że trochę się zdziwiłam widząc ciemniejszy okrąg w pobliżu miejsca gdzie trzymałam magnes. Myślałam, że końcówka długopisu będzie przyciągać metaliczne drobinki, a nie odpychać je.. Tak czy inaczej efekt jest na prawdę magiczny. Nałożyłam dwie warstwy lakieru magnetycznego i magnetyzowałam obie, ale myślę, że kiedy mamy ciemną bazę można obuć się z tylko jedną warstwą Masury. Te magnetyczne lakiery są bardzo napigmentowane.

I applied the magnetic polish one nail at a time, because we have to magnetize the surface as soon as possible to achieve the best effect. This time I wanted to make a circular design on my nails, so I used Dance Legend Magnetic Pen to create a darker area in the center of each nail. I must say that I was a bit surprised to see a darker circle near the spot where I held the magnet. I thought that the tip of the pen would pull the metallic particles, not push them away.. Nevertheless the effect is really magical. I applied the magnetic polish in two coats and magnetized each of them, but I think that when we have a dark base we can get away with just one coat of Masura. These magnetic polishes are really pigmented.

Zaczekałam aż baza całkowicie wyschnie i zaczęłam odbijać piękny wzór z płytki Uber Chic 4-03. Przy pomocy Stempla Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL umieściłam środek wzoru idealnie w centrum każdej ciemniejszej, stworzonej wcześniej plamy koloru. Użyłam lakieru do stempli Kaleidoscope 01 Black i pokryłam paznokcie top coat'em Kads żeby uniknąć rozmazania. Żeby jeszcze lepiej zabezpieczyć zdobienie położyłam też jedną warstwę INM Out THe Door.

I waited for the base to fully dry and started stamping a beautiful design from Uber Chic 4-03 plate. With the help of Aliexpress Blue Metal Handle XL Stamper I placed the center of the design exactly in the middle of each darker spot of colour created before. I used Kaleidoscope 01 Black stamping polish and covered my nails with Kads top coat to avoid any smudging. To secure the nail art even better I added a layer of INM Out The Door top coat as well.

#2ndHalloweenManiCollab - Pink Cemetery

Hej!

Tego roku nie było żadnych walentynkowych mani na moim blogu.. Nie miałam czasu zrobić czegoś specjalnego, a jedyne mani jakie zrobiłam nie było zbyt dobre. Jakiś czas temu jednak natknęłam się na ten hashtag #2ndHalloweenManiCollab. Pomysł stworzony przez @Chelseasnailstory i @riot_pr na Instagramie jest świetny i zdecydowanie w to wchodzę! Wiecie, że kocham Halloween całym sercem :D Jest jeszcze dwa dni do końca i zamierzam je wykorzystać, zaczynając od dzisiejszego Różowego Cmentarza.

This year there were no Valentine's Day manicures on my blog.. I didn't have time to do something special and the one manicure I did do, wasn't very good. A while ago though I came across this hashtag #2ndHalloweenManiCollab. The idea created by @Chelseasnailstory and @riot_pr on Instagram is awesome and I'm totally in! You know I love Halloween with all my heart :D There's still 2 days left and I'll try to make the most of them, starting with today's Pink Cemetery.

Myślę, że nazwa mani jest dość oczywista :D Magnetyczny lakier jakiego tutaj użyłam sprawił, że całość wyszła dość różowo i postanowiłam pójść w tym kierunku. Zrobiłam podwójne stemple również z różowym lakierem. Kiedy tak o tym myślę, to to mani ma trochę walentynkowego nastroju w sobie (albo to tylko moje dziwactwo się odzywa) :D

I think the name of this manicure is quite obvious :D The magnetic polish I used here made the whole thing a bit pink and I decided to go with it. I did some double stamping with a pink polish as well. When I think of it, this manicure has a Valentine's Day feel to it (or it's just my weirdness speaking) :D

Zapierający dech w piersiach lakier jaki tutaj widzicie to Masura Magellanic Clouds i polożyłam go w dwóch warstwach na ciemnej, kremowej bazie. Nawet producent sugeruje kłaść te magnetyczne lakiery na czerń, ja zamiast tego wybrałam bardzo ciemny burgund (Essie Carry On).

The stunning polish You can see here is Masura Magellanic Clouds and I layered two coats of it over a dark cream base. Even the producer suggests to put these magnetic polishes over black, I chose a very dark burgundy (Essie Carry On) instead.

Kiedy lakier Masura był wciąż mokry użyłam magnesu żeby stworzyć tajemniczy gradient jaki widzicie na moich paznokciach i zrobiłam tak przy obu warstwach. Narmalnie jedna warstwa Masury na ciemnej bazie wystarcza, jest jednolita i wygląda dobrze. Ja nałożyłam dwie, bo chciałam poprawić efekt gradientu. Robiłam też po jednym paznokciu, ponieważ przy tych lakierach musimy działać szybko.

While the Masura polish was still wet I used a magnet to create the mysterious gradient You can see on my nails and I did it with each coat. Normally one coat of Masura over a dark base would suffice, it's opaque and looks nice. I applied two, because I wanted to perfect the gradient effect. I also worked one nail at a time, as we need to be quick with these polishes.

Kiedy byłam zadowolona ze swojej bazy zaczęłam odbijać cmentarz. Użyłam dwóch lakierów do stempli - Kaleidoscope 93 Orchid i Kaleidoscope 01 Black. Wszystkie wzory pochodzą z płytki Chez Delaney Halloween 006 i użyłam Stempla B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear żeby zrobić podwójne stemplowanie. Zdobienie było zabezpieczone top coat'em Kads i INM Out The Door.

When I was happy with my base I started to stamp the cemetery. I used two stamping polishes - Kaleidoscope 93 Orchid and Kaleidoscope 01 Black. All of the design come from Chez Delaney Halloween 006 plate and I used the B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear Stamper to do the double stamping. The nail art was secured with Kads top coat and INM Out The Door.
