Od jakiegoś czasu myślałam o pawim manicure. To przyszło znikąd, kiedy zobaczyłam bazę na paznokciach od razu pomyślałam o piórach. No i teraz mam niebieskiego pawia :D

For some time now I've been thinking about a peacock themed manicure. This one came out of nowhere, when I saw the base colour on my nails I instantly thought about feathers. So now I have a blue peacock :D

Wspomniana baza to Colour Alike 552 z limitowanej kolekcji Connect. To niesamowity lakier, miks dużego pigmentu multichromowego z holo drobinkami. Efekt jaki daje ten lakier jest niemożliwy do uchwycenia na zdjęciach, ale uwierzcie mi - jest świetny. Dostałam nawet komplement od kosmetyczki na temat tego mani.. Zapytała gdzie robiłam paznokcie :D Moja odpowiedź "w domu" chyba ją trochę zaskoczyła :D

The mentioned base colour is Colour Alike 552 from the limited Connect collection. It's an amazing polish, a mix of big multichrome pigment with holo particles. The effect this polish gives is impossible to capture on photos, but believe me - it's great. I even got a compliment from a cosmetician on this manicure.. She asked where I did my nails :D My response "at home" probably surprised her a bit :D

Na zdjęciach możecie zobaczyć dwie warstwy Colour Alike (co swoją drogą też jest świetne). Zdjęcia były robione w różnym oświetleniu żeby spróbować pokazać Wam jaki super jest ten lakier. Niektóre są w naturalnym świetle, niektóre pod lampą pierścieniową.

On the photos you can see two coats of Colour Alike (what by the way is also amazing). The photos were taken in different lightning to try and show You how awesome this polish is. Some are in natural light, some under a ring light.

Patrząc na tą bazę pomyślałam, że fajnie byłoby zrobić pawi motyw na niej. Jestem stemplową dziewczyną, więc to właśnie zrobiłam. Użyłam dwóch płytek MoYou London: Tourist 14 i Tropical 20.

Looking at this base I thought it would be great to do some peacock motives on it. I'm a stamping girl so that's what I did :) I used two MoYou London plates: Tourist 14 and Tropical 20.

Wzorki odbiłam lakierem Avon Gold Leaf z kolekcji Metallic i stemplem Creative Shop. Na wierzchu jak zwykle Golden Rose Gel Look i INM Out The Door.

I stamped the designs with Avon Gold Leaf from the Metallic collection and Creative Shop stamper. On top as usual Golden Rose Gel Look and INM Out The Door.

I know it's summer.. but today I'd like to bring a bit of autumn.

Tytuł posta podyktowany jest kolorami jakich użyłam w tym mani oraz wzorem jakiego użyłam. Osobiście kocham tą kombinacje kolorów, mam nadzieję, że Wam też się spodoba.

The post title is dictated be the colours of this manicure and the design I used. I personally love this combination of colours, hope You'll like it too.

Większośc moich paznokci ma na sobie dwie warstwy Joko J115 Fresh Grape. Myslę, że pisałam juz kilka razy o tym lakierze, to bardzo łatwy w obsłudze fiolet. Mam już tylko około 1/3 buteleczki (a to zdarza się bardzo rzadko), więc wiecie jak bardzo go lubię :)

Most of my nails have two coats of Joko J115 Fresh Grape on them. I think I wrote a bunch of times about this polish, it's a very easy to work with dark purple. I only have about 1/3 of the bottle left (and that happens very rarely), so You can see how I like it :)

Gwiazdą tego mani jest kalejdoskopowy wzór na moim palcu serdecznym i środkowym. Odbiłam go przy pomocy płytki Born Pretty BP-L008 i lakieru My Secret 200 Dressed In Black. Płytkę możecie znaleźć TUTAJ a czarny lakier w Naturze. Na stemplach położyłam jedną warstwę Golden Rose Gel Look i pokolorowałam wzór moimi tintami z Chińskiego Centrum. Top coat zapobiega rozmazywaniu wzoru podczas nakładania tint'ów. Na wierzchu jest jedna warstwa INM Out The Door.

The star of this manicure is the kaleidoscope design on my ring and middle finger. I stamped it with Born Pretty BP-L008 image plate and My Secret 200 Dressed In Black. You can find the image plate HERE and the black polish in Natura. On the stamping I put a coat of Golden Rose Gel Look and coloured the design with my sheer tints from the Chinese Store. The top coat prevents the design from smudging during applying the tints. On top there's one coat of INM Out The Door.

Ice cream again this time! What can I say, it's the season!

Tym razem zdecydowałam się zrobić miętowe lody z czekoladą. Kocham je!!! Wyjęłam wszystkie moje miętowe lakiery i wybrałam ten który idealnie odpowiada miętowym lodom Zielona Budka - Salon Perfect Mint Julep.

This time I decided to do mint ice cream with chocolate. I love those!!! I took out all of my minty nail polishes and choose the one that perfectly matches the Zielona Bundka mint ice cream - Salon Perfect Mint Julep.

Bazą są dwie warstwy Salon Perfect. Ten lakier jest świetny, kolor, aplikacja, wszystko. Nawet wysychał dość szybko. Myślę, że będę go używać częściej :)

The base is two coats of Salon Perfect. This polish is great, the colour, the application, all of it. It even dried quite quickly. I think I'll be using it more often :)

Cały pomysł polegał na tym żeby połączyć moje lody z czekoladą. Wybrałam wzorek który przypomina cieknącą czekoladę z płytki MoYou London Cook Book 09 i odbiłam go Essie Partner In Crime. Jak widzicie odbił się ładnie, nie mogłam tylko trafić wzorkiem prosto. Miałam trochę dziur przy skórkach, więc dodałam tylko trochę lakieru małym pędzelkiem do zdobień. Pewnie widzicie ciemniejsze połacie koloru na wzorze, to są moje poprawki. Na koniec dodałam też trochę nieregularnych kropek na reszcie paznokcia, więc teraz na prawdę wygląda to jak moje ulubione lody :)

The whole idea was to mix my ice cream with some chocolate. I choose a design that resembles dripping chocolate from MoYou London Cook Book 09 image plate and stamped it with Essie Partner In Crime. As You can see it stamped nicely, I just couldn't get the design straight. I had some blind spots near my cuticles, so I just added some polish with a little nail art brush. You probably can see darker spots of colour on the design, those are my corrections. In the end I also made some irregular dot on the rest of my nail, so it really looks like my favourite ice cream :)

Dzisiaj będę recenzowała jedną z plytek jakie dostałam ze sklepu Born Pretty Store. Ta którą dostałam nazywa się Ya Qin An Y003, a przynajmniej myślę, że tak sie nazywa :)

Today I'll be reviewing one of the stamping image plates I got from Born Pretty Store. The one I got is called Ya Qin An Y003, at least I think that's how it's cold :)

Tak wygląda płytka. Miała ona niebieską folię ochronną po obu stronach. Zerwałam tą z przodu i zostawiłam tylnia, ponieważ plytka jest cała metalowa, nie ma żadnego papierowego czy plastikowego tyłu. Orginalnie płytka przyszła w kartoniku pokazanym poniżej. Możecie ją znaleźć w sklepie Born Pretty Store TUTAJ.

This is how the plate looks like. It had a blue protection film on both sides. I peeled off the front one and left the back, because the whole plate is metal, it doesn't have any paper or plastic back. The plate originally came in a paper sleeve shown below. You can find it in Born Pretty Store HERE.

Tutaj widać jak wzory wyglądają na kartce. Odbijałam czarnym lakierem My Secret 121 i stemplem Creative Shop.

Here is how the designs look like on paper. I stamped them with My Secret 121 black and the Creative Shop stamper.

Ta płytka ma bardzo dużo różnych koronek, które uwielbiam. Możemy wybierać spośród sześciu całopaznokciowych wzorów, które mają 1,7cm x 2,0cm i trzech małych. Wzorki odbijają się na prawdę ładnie i wyglądają świetnie na paznokciach. Jedyną rzeczą która może być problematyczna jest to, że wzory są bardzo szczególowe, a ich krawędzie - trochę ostre. Musiałam uważać podczas czyszczenia płytki bawełnianym płatkiem, żeby nie zostawić żadnych włókien. Jeśli krawędzie graweru złapią ich trochę (a lubią to robić) a ja nałożę lakier, podczas zbierania nadmiaru włókna mają tendencję do psucia wzorka. Poza tym byłam bardzo zadowolona z pracy z tą płytką.

Poniżej możecie zobaczyć dwa mani, jakie zrobiłam używając tej płytki.

This plate has a lot of different laces, which I adore. We can choose from six full nail images, which have 1,7cm x 2,0cm and three small ones. The designs stamp really nice and look amazing on nails. The only thing that can be an issue is that the designs are really detailed and their edges - a bit sharp. I had too look out while cleaning the plate with a cotton pad not to leave any fibres. If the edges of the engraver caught some of them (and they like to do that) and I applied my nail polish, during scraping the fibres tended to mess up the design. Other than this I was very pleased with working with this plate.

dzisiaj mam bardzo eleganckie mani. Przynajmniej tak myślę :) W zasadzie zrobiłam to mani nie tak dawno po raz pierwszy, ale nie moglam zrobić dobrych zdjęć! Po prawdzie poprzednie zdjęcia były fatalne.. Zdecydowałam się zrobić manicure jeszcze raz żeby zrobić lepsze zdjęcia, ale to dalej nie jest coś co nazwałabym dobrymi. Nie wiem dokładnie dlaczego to mani tak ciężko złapać.. może to shimmerowa baza, może brokat.. albo wszystko razem. Nie będę próbować po raz trzeci, więc fotki są jakie są.

today I have a very elegant manicure. At least I think so :) I actually did this manicure once before not long ago, but I just couldn't take any goodphotos! In fact the previous photos were terrible.. I decided to make the manicure again to get some better pictures, but it's still not what I would call good. I don't know why exactly is this manicure so hard to capture.. maybe it's the shimmery base, maybe the glitter.. or all of this together. I'm not going to try for the third time, so the photos are what they are.

Kolor jakiego uzyłam jako bazy to Orly Frosting. Nałożyłam trzy warstwy i to dla mnie mus przy tym lakierze. Jest dość przezroczysty i smuży przy pierwszej warstwe, druga to wyrównuje, ale dopiero trzecia dała mi idealne krycie.

The colour I used as base is Orly Frosting. I applied three coats and that's a must for me with this polish. It's quite sheer and streaky on the first coat, the second one evens it out, but ultimately the third gave me perfect coverage.

Na palec serdeczny i kciuk nałożyłam jedną warstwę Orly Halo. To taki śliczny brokat! Ma mnóstwo małych, złotych i srebrnych drobinek oraz trochę większych, okrągłych srebrnych. Na prawdę ładnie się rozprowadza na paznokciu, a to zawsze jest ważną kwestią przy brokatowcyh top coat'ach. Jedna warstw INM Out The Door idealnie go wygładziła.

On my ring finger and thumb I applied one coat of Orly Halo. This is such a lovely glitter! It has a lot of little gold and silver particles and some larger, round silver ones. It spreads really nicely on the nail, and that's an important issue when it comes to glitter top coats. One coat of INM Out The Door on top made it perfectly smooth.

Na reszcie paznokci zrobiłam stemple. Koronkowy wzór pochodzi z płytki z Born Pretty Store Y003. Wzór odbiłam lakierem Essence Nail Art Magnetics w kolorze 11 Witches Come True (jaka nazwa :D). To szarawo srebrny kolor z mnóstwem złotego shimmeru.

On the rest of my nails I did some stamping. The lace design came from a Born Pretty Store image plate Y003. I stamped the design with Essence Nail Art Magnetics polish in 11 Witches Come True (what a name :D). It's a greyish silver colour with a lot of gold shimmer.

today I have a shiny manicure for You. This is combination I saw multiple times on the web. I decided to try it and I really liked how it looked on my nails.

Bazowy kolor to Allepaznokcie Holographic Nail Polish 01. Ta marka sprzedaje dużo paznokciowych produktów w niskich cenach. Te lakiery były po około 15zł jak je kupowałam i mam kilka kolorów. Wszystkie mają 15ml pojemności i kupiłam je na Allegro.

The base colour is Allepaznokcie Holographic Nail Polish 01. This brand sells a lot of nail products in low prices. These polishes were about 15zł when I bought them and I have a bunch of colours. They're all 15ml and I got them on Allegro.

Nałożyłam trzy warstwy, ale dwie wyglądały prawie tak samo. Lakier ma fajną konsystencję, łatwo czyści się ze skórek (co jest dla mnie bardzo ważne) i daje całkiem niezły holograficzny efekt. Nie mam zbyt wielu lakierów holo, ale te mnie usatysfakcjonował, zwłaszcza za cenę 15zł. To nie jest super silny efekt holo, ale jest widoczny. Właściwie zaskoczyło mnie jak dobrze wyglądał na moich paznokciach w sztucznym świetle (zdjęcia na końcu).

I applied three coats, but two looked almost the same. The polish has a nice formula, cleans easily from cuticles (what is really important for me) and gives quite a holographic effect. I don't have a lot of holo polishes, but this one satisfied me, especially for the price of 15zł. It's not a super strong holo effect, but it's visible. In artificial light it actually surprised me with how good it looked (photos in the end).

Na tej bazie odbiłam piękny, czarny, koronkowy wzór. Wzorek pochodzi z płytki Born Pretty Store o nazwie Y003. Możecia ją znaleźć TUTAJ. Czarny lakier jakiego użyłam to jak zwykle My Secret, ale teraz zmienili trochę numerację kolorów. Czerń to teraz MS 200 Dressed In Black.

On this base I stamped a beautiful lace design in black. The design comes from a Born Pretty Store image plate called Y003. You can find it HERE. The black I used is as usually My Secret, but now they hanged a bit the colour numbers. Black is now MS 200 Dressed In Black.

Tutaj są zdjęcia holograficznego efektu w sztucznym świetle. Niźle, co? Wiem, że to nie jak w markach indie czy innych wysokopółkowych lakierach, ale i tak bardzo mi się podobał.

Here are the photos showing the holographic effect in artificial light. Nice, right? I know it's not like in the indie brands or other top shelf nail polishes, but I still liked it a lot.

Po wszystkich jaskrawych, letnich kolorach ostatnio, zdecydowałam się zrobić coś ciemniejszego. Możecie uwierzyć, że to pierwszy raz kiedy użyłam Orly Smoked Out odkąd go kupiłam jakieś trzy czy cztery miesiące temu?! Wstyd..

After all the bright, summer colours lately, I decided to do something darker. Can You believe that this is the first time I've used Orly Smoked Out since I bought it about three or four months ago?! Shame on me..

Na paznokciach mam dwie warstwy Orly Smoked Out. Lakier nakładał się przyjemnie, nawet łatwo zmywał się ze skórek. Krycie po dwóch warstwach było perfekcyjne.

On my nails I have two coats of Orly Smoked Out. This polish applied nicely, it even easily cleaned from the cuticles. The coverage after two coats was perfect.

Orginalnie Orly schnie do matu, ale ponieważ zawsze daję top coat na stemple dałam go też na resztę paznokci. Paznokcie ze wzorkiem mają jedną warstwę GR Gel Look i jedną INM Out The Door. Reszta dostała tylko jedną warstwę INM. Jak pewnie widzicie jedna warstwa INM nie dała mi idealnie gładkiej powierzchni. Nie była ona chropowata czy cos takiego, ale też nie perfekcyjna.

Originally Orly dies matte, but since I always put top coat on my stamping designs I put it on my other nails as well. The nails with the design got one coat of GR Gel Look and one of INM Out The Door. The rest got just one coat of INM. As You can probably see one coat of INM didn't give me a perfectly smooth surface. It wasn't rough or anything, but just not quite perfect.

Stemplowy wzorek jaki tu zrobiłam pochodzi z płytki Born Pretty BP-L001. Użyłam złota Avon Gold Leaf po raz pierwszy tutaj i wszystkie świetne rzeczy jakie możecie o nim przeczytać to całkowita prawda. Jest niesamowity do stempli, wzory odbijają się idealnie, a złoty kolor jest bardzo ładny.

The stamping design I did here comes from Born Pretty BP-L001 image plate. I used Avon Gold Leaf gold for the first time here and all the great things You can read about it are totally true. It's amazing for stamping, the design transferred perfectly and the gold colour is very nice.
