Dzisiaj przychodzę do Was z recenzją dwóch prostokątnych płytek do stempli z Born Pretty Store. Wybrałam BP-L001 i BP-L008. Poniżej możecie zobaczyć jak wyglądają, jak odbijają się wzory na papierze i przeczytać jakie są moje obserwacje. Na konieć zamieszczę też kilka mani zrobionych przy pomocy tych płytek.

Today I'm coming to You with a review of two rectangular stamping plates from Born Pretty Store. I picked BP-L001 and BP-L008. Below You can see how they look like, how do the designs stamp on paper and read what are my observations. In the end I'll also post a few manicures I did with these plates.
Płytki są prostokątne i mierzą 6cm x 12cm. Mają plastikowy, biały tył, który jest trochę większy od samej płytki, więc ogólnie całość ma 7cm x 13cm. Płytki przychodzą w papierowych rękawach z nazwą sklepu i azteckim wzorem. Moje ostatnio zakupione płytki mają jednak inny rękaw, więc prawdopodobnie Born Pretty Store ma kilka wzorów.
Pierwsza płytka jaką będę Wam pokazywać to BP-L001. Ta płytka nazywa się Flowers & Leaves i możecie ją znaleźć TUTAJ. Ma ona 18 całopaznokciowych wzorków z których większość ma 1,4cm x 1,9cm. Tylko trzy z nich są trochę mniejsze: 1,0cm x 1,5cm.
The plates are rectangular and they measure 6cm x 12cm. They have a plastic, white backing that is a bit bigger than the plate itself, so overall the whole thing is 7cm x 13cm. The plates come in paper sleeves with the name of the store and an aztec pattern. My more recently bought plates have different sleeves though, so probably Born Pretty Store has several designs.
The first plate I'll be showing You is BP-L001. This plate is called Flowers & Leaves and You can find it HERE. It has 18 full nail designs, most of which are 1,4cm x 1,9cm. Only three of them are a bit smaller: 1,0cm x 1,5cm.
Muszę Wam powiedzieć, że miałam pewne problemy z tą płytką. Kocham okrągłe płytki Born Pretty Store, miały świetną jakość i odbijały się z łatwością. Nigdy nie miałam żadnych problemów ze zbieraniem lakieru z nich i stemplowaniem wzorów. Ta płytka potrzebowała dużo więcej zachodu. Po pierwsze rogi płytki zdają się schodzić w dół, więc nie ma żadnych ostrych krawędzi. To fajnie i tak dalej, ale powierzchnia nie jest idealnie płaska. Odkryłam, że nie jest tak łatwo zdjąć nadmiar lakieru z tej płytki. Trzeba to zrobić w odpowiednim kierunku i ostrożnie albo nie uda się zdjąć wszystkiego. Można zostać z plamą lakieru na wzorze, co kilkakrotnie mi się zdarzyło. Jest to do opanowania, ale zabiera dużo więcej czasu. Ten problem pojawiał się głównie na wzorach z rogów.
Poniżej możecie zobaczyć test na papierze, ale muszę wspomnieć, że niektóre wzorki musiałam odbić kilka razy żeby wyszły ładnie. Powodem była głównie kwestia o której pisałam wyżej. Możecie ten problem zobaczyć na lewym, górnym wzorku. Bambus ma plamę lakieru, ale ta była mała. Czasami miałam plamy, które psuły niemal cały obrazek. Żeby uniknąć plamowego problemu zbierałam nadmiar dość mocno, ale to może powodować luki w niektórych wzorach. Możecie to zobaczyć głównie na wzorze drzewa w środkowym rzędzie.
I have to tell You that I had some problems with this plate. I love the round Born Pretty Store plates, they were all great quality and they stamped with ease. I never had any problems with scraping nail polish off of them and stamping the designs. This plate needed much more effort. First of all the corners of the plate seem to lean down, so there are no sharp edges on the sides. That's nice and all, but the surface isn't perfectly flat. I discovered that it's not that easy to scrape the excess polish of this plate. You have to do it in the right direction and carefully or You won't get all of it off. You might end up with a stain on your design, what happened numerous times to me. It's manageable, but it takes much more time. This problem occurred mostly on the corner designs.
Below You can see the test on paper, but I have to mention that I had to stamp some design a few times to get them right. The reason for that was mostly the issue I wrote about above. You can see the problem on the left upper design. The bamboo has a stain of polish, but this one was a little one. Sometimes I got stains that almost spoiled the whole image. To avoid the stain problem I scraped harder, but that can caused blank spots in some designs. You can mostly see this in the tree image in the middle row.
Druga płytka jaką będę Wam pokazywać to BP-L008. Ta nazywa się Various Arabesque Patter i możecie ją znaleźć TUTAJ. Ma ona 13 całopaznokciowych wzorków, które mają 1,5cm x 2,0cm, jeden mniejszy mający 1,3cm x 1,7cm i 9 liniowych albo french'owych wzorów.
The second plate I'll be showing You is BP-L008. This one is called Various Arabesque Pattern and You can find it HERE. It has 13 full nail designs that are 1,5cm x 2,0cm, a smaller one that is 1,3cm x 1,7cm and 9 linear or French tip designs.
Praca z tą płytką również była trochę bardziej skomplikowana niż z okrągłymi płytkami. Problem ze ściąganiem nadmiaru występował głównie w rogach, ale tutaj mamy sporo wzorów z dużą wygrawerowana powierzchnią więc nawet częściej pojawiały się luki. Wydaje mi się, że miałam mniej problemów z wzorami z górnego rzędu niż z pozostałymi, ale może to być tylko moje pierwsze wrażenie.
Poniżej jest test na papierze. Tak jak przy pierwszej płytce musiałam niektóre wzorki odbić więcej niż raz.
Working with this plate was also a bit more complicated than with the round plates. The scraping problems occurred mostly in the corners, but here we have some designs with a big engraved surface so it was event more often to end up with blank spots. I think that I had less problems with the top row designs than with the other ones, but it might be just my first impression.
Below is the test on paper. Like with the firs plate I had to stamp some designs more that one time.
Prostokątne płytki wypuszczone przez Born Pretty Store są śliczne, wzory są świetne, ale nie są dla mnie aż tak łatwe w obsłudze jak te okrągłe. Ich cena to 5,99$ i o ile nie mamy rabatu jest dość bliska MoYou London, które są moimi osobistymi ulubieńcami. Mam sporo płytek BPS XL (prawie wszystkie kupione w niższej cenie) i nie wypróbowałam jeszcze wszystkich. Może niktóre będą łatwiejsze w obsłudze albo ja stanę się lepsza w pracy z nimi z czasem. Na razie wiem, że nie będę ich używać tak często jak okrągłej edycji. Po prostu więcej czasu potrzeba żeby wzory były idealne, choć nie ukrywam, że niektóre są całkowicie warte zachodu!

The rectangular plates Born Pretty Store lunched are lovely, the designs are great, but they're not as effortless for me as the round ones were. The price of these is 5,99$ and unless we get a discount it's quite close to MoYou London which is my personal favourite. I do have a lot of the BPS XL plates (almost all bought in lower price) and I didn't try all of them yet. Maybe some of them will be easier to work with or I'll get better at stamping with them in time. For now I know I won't use them as often as the round edition. It just takes more time to get the designs perfect, although to be truthful some of them are totally worth the effort!
