REVIEW: Nicole Diary L-31 Stamping Plate

in my last post I showed You a plate with flowers and spiders, today it's flowers and skulls, bones etc.

 

Nicole Diary L-31 to większa płytka z mnóstwem interesujących wzorów, głównie czaszkami, kośćmi połączonymi z kwiatami czy motylami. Jestem w niej zakochana!

Nicole Diary L-31 is a larger plate with lots of interesting designs, mainly skulls, bones combined with flowers or butterflies. I absolutely love it!

Zacznijmy od lakierów jakie wybrałam do tego mani. Chciałąm coś subtelnego, więc pastele były idealne. Trzy lakiery jakie mam na paznokciach to Color Club Hot-hot-hot Pants, Macaroon Swoon i Under The Blacklight.

Let's start with the polishes I chose for this manicure. I wanted something subtle, so pastels were perfect. The three polishes I have on my nails are Color Club Hot-hot-hot Pants, Macaroon Swoon and Under The Blacklight.

Używając płytki Nicole Diary L-31 do stworzenia stemplowych naklejek. Do stemplowania użyłam czarnego lakieru do stempli Beauty Big Bang. Następnie pokolorowałam wzór Color Club Hot-hot-hot Pants, Under The Blacklight, We Liming, Youthquake oraz Kiko 203 French White For Tips.

Using Nicole Diary L-31 plate I created two stamping decal. For the stamping I used Beauty Big Bang black stamping polish. Next I coloured the design with Color Club Hot-hot-hot Pants, Under The Blacklight, We Liming, Youthquake and Kiko 203 French White For Tips.

This manicure called for a makeup in pastels, so here it is!

To create this makeup I used Glam Shop Pastele Neon Mat palette, Eveline Precise Brush Liner, Essence Longlasting Eye Pencil and Maybelline Sky High mascara.

today I come to You with a stamping plate review. You know how I love this nail art technique and this particular plate gives me the chance to show You how much I love cats as well. This product was send to me for review by BeautyBigBang.

Zacznijmy od płytki samej w sobie. To płytka XL o nazwie BeautyBigBang XL-008 z wzorami zarówno całopaznokciowymi jak i kilkoma maniejszymi. Wzory na cały paznokieć mierzą około 1,5 x 2,5cm, więc pasują dobrze na moje nawet trochę dłuższe paznokcie.

Let's start from the plate itself. It's an XL plate called BeautyBigBang XL-008 with both full nail designs and some smaller ones. The full nail designs measure about 1,5 x 2,5cm, so they fit nicely even on my slightly longer nails.

W moim manicurze użyłam trzech wzorów z tej płytki, jak widzicie idealnie się odbijają. Jeśli podoba Wam się ta płytka, możecie ją kupić TUTAJ. W tym momencie jest nawet na nią rabat 50%, więc to świetna okazja.

Do zdobienia jakie zdecydowałam się zrobić z tą płytką, w roli bazy użyłam dwóch lakierów Color Club. Pierwszy to CC One Love, a drugi to CC Hot-Hot-Hot Pants. Oba te lakiery nałożyłąm w dwóch grubszych warstwach.

For the nail art which I decided to do with this plate, as a my base I used two Color Club polishes. The first one is CC One Love and the second one is CC Hot-Hot-Hot Pants. I applied both of these polishes in two thicker coats.

Moim kolejnym krokiem było dodanie trochę błysku temu mani przez aplikację jednej warstwy ILNP Alchemist z kolekcji Real Magic Toppers. Dzięki temu mani stało się bardzo ciepłe i letnie.

My next step was adding a little shine to this manicure by applying one coat of ILNP Alchemist from the Real Magic Toppers collection. This made the manicure very warm and summery.

Wszystkie stemplowe wzorki zrobione były czernym lakierem do stempli Born Pretty Store #1. Żeby idealnie wypozycjonować buźkę kota i napis użyłam jednego z moich przezroczystych stepli .

All of the stamping designs were made with black Born Pretty Store #1 stamping polish. To perfectly position the cat face and inscription I used one of my clear stampers .

Jak zwykle zabezpieczyłam stemple top coat'em Kads Smudge Resistant i INM Out The Door.

Like always I secured the stamping with Kads Smudge Resistant top coat and INM Out The Door.

tym razem mój post będzie w lodowym temacie. Kupiłam ostatnio kilka płytek z MoYou London, a wśród nich płytki Cook Book 09 i 10. Lody będą pewnie w najbliższej przyszłości wiodły prym na moim blogu :D

this time my post will be ice cream themed! I bought a bunch of MoYou London image plates lately and among them the Cook Book 09 and 10 plates. Ice cram will be probably a thing on my blog in the near future :D

Miałam mały dylemat przy tym mani. Chciałam użyć moich nowych lodowych płytek, moich nowych lakierów Color Club Poptastic i chciałam wypróbować kolorowanie stempli tintami.. Na koniec nie mogłam się zdecydować i wszystko to wylądowało w jednym mani :D Nie jestem super zadowolona, ale myślę że wyszło w porządku.

I had a bit of a struggle with this manicure. I wanted to use my new ice cream plates, my new Color Club Poptastic polishes and I was eager to try painting stamping with tints.. In the end I couldn't make my mind and all of this landed in the same manicure :D I'm not super pleased, but I think it came out OK.

Moim kolorem bazowym jest Color Club Hot-Hot-Hot Pants z kolekcji Poptastic. Nałożyłam trzy warstwy i tyle wystarczyło, aplikacja znów nie była taka zła. Nie wiem czy moja podświadomość wpływa na opinię (bo byłam taaaaaka napalona na te lakiery i nie mogłam ich dostać) czy co, ale na prawdę zdaję się lubić te które wypróbowałam. Kolejnym krokiem były stemple. Wybrałam lodowy wzór, który nadawał się do kolorowania tintami. Pochodzi on z płytki MoYou London Cook Book 09. Stemplowałam czarnym lakierem My Secret.

My base colour is Color Club Hot-Hot-Hot Pants from the Poptastic collection. I applied three coats and that was enough, again the application wasn't that bad. I don't know if my subconscious effects my opinion (because I was soooo into these polishes and I couldn't get them) or what, but I really seem to like the ones I tried out. My next step was stamping. I choose an ice cream pattern that would be suitable for colouring with tints. It comes from MoYou London Cook Book 09 plate. I stamped with My Secret black polish.

 

Teraz przejdźmy do części o kolorowaniu. Tinty są ostatnio bardzo popularne przy kolorowaniu stempli, to dużo prostsze niż robienie naklejek stemplowych czy malowanie wzoru normalnym lakierem. Tinty nie są jednak nowym wynalazkiem. Widziałam je kilka lat temu w kropkowym mani, a zwały się Mia Secret Tints. Wtedy używane były do barwienia całego mani, brokatów. Pamiętam, że taaaak strasznie je chciałam, ale były trudno dostępne i dość drogie. Teraz jest kilka marek oferujących tinty (słyszałam o O.P.I, Kaleidoscope, Dance Legend) i jest dużo tutoriali o tym jak zrobić tinty w domu. Właściwie sama mam zamiar zrobić kilka kolorów z tuszy alkoholowych, ale to mani było kolorowane tintami z Chińskiego Centrum. Kilka miesięcy temu (albo już nawet lat) jedna z dziewczyn wpadła w Chińskim Centrum na dziwne buteleczki wyglądające trochę jak świeczki, z czymś przezroczystym w środku. Mając w pamięci tinty które widziałam dawno temu w internecie wiedziałam, że to dziwne coś to właśnie to - tinty! Kupiłam wszystkie dostępne kolory i użyłam ich TUTAJ. Teraz na pewno będę częściej kolorowała stemple nimi, niż w jakikolwiek inny sposób!

Now let's go to the colouring part. Tints are lately very popular in colouring stamping, it's a lot easier than making stamping decals or painting the designs with regular polishes. Tints aren't such a new invention though. I saw them a few years back in a dot manicure, and they were called Mia Secret Tints. Back then they were used to tinge the whole manicure, glitters. I remember that I wanted them soooo badly, but they were hard to get and a bit expensive. Now there are a few brands offering tints (I heard about O.P.I, Kaleidoscope, Dance Legend) and there are a lot of tutorials on how to make tints at home. I actually intend to make a few colours from alcohol paints, but this manicure was coloured with tints from a Chinese Store. A couple months ago (or even years by now) one of the girls came across weird bottles looking a little like candles, with something sheer inside in a Chinese Store. Having in mind the tints I saw long ago on the internet, I knew that this weird thing was just that - tints! I bought all colours available and I used them HERE. Now I'll be definitively painting stamping with them more often than in any other way!
