Jest 1szy dzień wiosny i myślę, że kwiatowe, kolorowe mani byłoby na miejscu. Co powiecie na różowe tulipany?

It's the 1st day of spring and I think a flowery, colourful manicure would be in order. How about pink tulips?

Zdobienie jakie dzisiaj pokazuję jest zasadniczo bardzo stare (myśle, że z zeszłego lata), ale bardzo pasuje do tematu wiosny i moja paznokcie były w podobnym stanie jeszcze niedawno (wspominałam, że musiałam je drastycznie skrócić, oto jak bardzo).

The nail art I'm presenting today is actually a very old one (from last summer, I think), but it really suits the spring topic and my nail we're in a similar state just a while ago (I mentioned I had to shorten them drastically, that's how much).

Ponieważ planowałam użyć tinty w tym mani, wybrałam bardzo jasny róż jako bazę. Nałożyłam trzy warstwy Colour Alike Maniurka i myśle, że idealnie się sprawdził jako tło dla ciemniejszych kwiatów.

Because I planned on using tints in this manicure, I chose a very light, pink as a base. I applied three coats of Colour Alike Maniurka and I think it worked perfect as a background for the darker flowers.

Tulipany są wzorem z płytki MoYou London PRO XL 12. Odbiłam je lakierem My Secret Dressed In Black i Stemplem B. Loves Plates Jumbo. Zabezpieczyłam również całość Golden Rose Gel Look zanim zaczęłam kolorować wzór. Tinty jakich użyłam to moje tinty DIY w kolorach 9 (ciemny róż) i 15 (jasna zieleń). The tulips are a design from MoYou London PRO XL 12 plate. I stamped them with My Secret Dressed In Black and B. Loves Plates Jumbo Stamper. I also secured the whole thing with Golden Rose Gel Look before I started to colour the design. The tints I used are my DIY sheer tints in 9 (dark pink) and 15 (light green). I'm still in the process of reviewing some Born Pretty Store nail products and today I'd like to show You two sheets of Vintage Damask Water Decals, as well as a couple of manicures I did with them. Jak widzicie naklejki wodne są w dwóch kolorach: białym DS-264 i czarnym DS-265. Dostałam obie wersje i są świetne. Jeden arkusz liczy sobie około 12,5 x 5,5 cm i jest pełny delikatnych wzorów. Obrazki są wydrukowane na bardzo cienkiej folii więc krawędzie naklejki sa niewidoczny na paznokciu i można całość łatwo pokryć top coat'em. Naklejki nałożyłam bardzo szybko i bez żadnych problemów. As You can see the water decals come in two colours: white DS-264 and black DS-265. I got both versions and they're wonderful. One sheet measures about 12,5 x 5,5 cm and it's filled with delicate designs. The images are printed on a very thin foil so the edges of the decal are invisible on the nail and You can easily cover the whole thing with top coat. I applied the decals very quickly and with no trouble at all. If You're interested on how I apply water decals and what are my tips You can visit THIS post.

Wszystkie mani jakie zrobiłam z tymi naklejkami wodnymi są łatwe, ale myślę, że to jest najprostsze. Lakier jakiego użyłam jest wystarczająco bogaty, więc nie chciałam przedobrzyć ;) Nałożyłam tylko dwie większe naklejki na środkowy i serdeczny palec, pokryłam je top coat'em i tyle.

All of the manicures I did with these water decals are easy, but I think this one is the simplest. The nail polish I used is rich enough, so I didn't want to over do it ;) I just applied two bigger stickers on my middle and ring finger, covered them with top coat and that's it.

Jako bazy użyłam dwóch warst Orly Classic Contours i dwóch warstw Colour Alike 553. Jak widzicie CA jest bardzo efektownym lakierem, na żywo robi nawet większe wrażenie.

As a base I used two coats of Orly Classic Contours and two coats of Colour Alike 553. As You can see CA is a very eye-catching nail polish, in real life it makes an even better impression.

Przy moim drugim mani użyłam paska oraz kropkowej linii które są na brzegach arkusza. Umieściłam je na jednej stronie kciuka i serdecznego palca tworząc tylko mały akcent.

In my second manicure I used the stripe and dotted line that are on the edges of the sheet. I placed them on the side of my thumb and ring finger creating just a little accent.

Baza jaką mam na paznokciach to kombinacja Orly Fireball i Golden Rose Scale Effect 15. Flejksy od GR sa już niestety niedostępne (od bardzo dawna), aż żal..

The base I have on my nails is a combination of Orly Fireball and Golden Rose Scale Effect 15. Unfortunately the GR flakies are unavailable (have been for a long time), it's a big shame..

Moja trzecia propozycja wiąże się z białymi naklejkami. Pomalowałam wiekszośc paznokci lakierem Safari 56, a paznokcie środkowego i serdecznego palca lakierem Kiko 338 Light Lavender.

My third proposition involves the white decals. I painted most of my nails with Safari 56 and my middle and ring finger nails with Kiko 338 Light Lavender.

Kiedy moje bazowe kolory były całkowicie suche przykleiłam krótki kawałek kropkowej linii przy skórkach, a potem jeden z damask'owych wzorów. Chciałam żeby wyglądało to jak wisząca ozdoba. Kiedy teraz patrzę na to mani wygląda ono nawet trochę jak bożonarodzeniowe zdobienie :)

Jak Wam się podobaja dzisiajsze mani?

When my base colours were completely dry I stuck a short part the dotted line near my cuticles and after that one of the damask designs. I wanted it to look like a dangling ornament. When I look at this manicure now it even looks a bit like a Christmas themed nail art :)

Nie tak dawno widziałyście słoneczniki na moich paznokciach, a dzisiaj zdecydowałam się zrobić róże. Mam nadzieję, że spodoba Wam się ta propozycja tak samo jak poprzednia.

Not long ago You saw sunflowers on my nails and today I decided to do some roses. I hope You'll like this proposition just like the last one.

Chciałam w tym mani zrobić bardzo jasną, neutralną bazę. Zdecydowałam się na Golden Rose Ice Chic 07. To bardzo blady, kremowy kolor i potrzebowałam trzech warstw do pełnego krycia. Ten lakier jest dość podobny do tego, którego użyłam jako bazy w TYM mani. Jest tylko bardziej kremowy niż różowy, ale aplikacja i formuła były takie same. Zazwyczaj nie lubię nakładać trzech warstw, ale w tym przypadku nie były one w najmniejszym stopniu problematyczne.

In this manicure I wanted to do a very light, neutral base. I decided to go with Golden Rose Ice Chic 07. It's a very pale, cream colour and I needed three coats for full opacity. This nail polish is quite similar to the one I used as a base in THIS manicure. It's just more of a cream than a pink shade, but the application and formula was the same. Usually I don't like applying three coats, but in this case they weren't at all problematic.

Odbiłam słodki, różany wzorek z płytki B. Loves Plates B.02 Flower Power lakierem My Secret Dressed In Black. Użyłam do tego celu Stempla B. Loves Plates Jumbo.

I stamped the cute rose design from B. Loves Plates B.02 Flower Power plate with My Secret Dressed In Black. I used B. Loves Plates Jumbo Stamper to do that.

Moim kolejnym krokiem było zabezpieczenie wzoru warstwą Golden Rose Gel Look i pokolorowanie obrazka. Użyłam tintów DIY w kolorze 8 oraz 15 żeby zrobić większość róż i listki. Do środka każdej różyczki użyłam chiństiego tinta 05. Wypełniłam wzór sondą i igłą (liście). Po tym jak moje tinty trochę wyschły dodałam jedną warstwę INM Out The Door.

My next step was securing the design with one coat of Golden Rose Gel Look and colouring the image. I used DIY tints in 8 and 15 to do most of the roses and the leaves. For the middle of each rose I used the Chinese tint 05. I filled the design with a dotting tool and a needle (the leaves). After my tints dried a bit I added one coat of INM Out The Door.
