It's Santa Claus's day and this character is the theme of today's #glamnailschallengedec promopts.

Manicure jaki przygotowałam ma prostą, czarną bazę. Użyłam My Secret Dressed In Black i nałożyłam dwie warstwy. Moim kolejnym krokiem było stworzenie plamy na środku każdego paznokcia. Początkowo miał to być okrągły gradient, ale w pewnym momencie dałam sobie spokój i zostawiłam plamę w spokoju. Użyłam Essie Avenue Maintain a później China Glaze Dorothy Who? żeby dodać trochę błysku mojemu zimowemu niebu (w tym właśnie kierunku szłam).

The manicure I prepared has a simple, black base. I used My Secret Dressed In Black and applied two coats. My next step was creating the blue blob in the middle of each nail. Initially it was supposed to be a radial gradient, but I gave up at some point and left the blob be. I used Essie Avenue Maintain and after that China Glaze Dorothy Who? to give my winter sky (that what I was going for) a little spark.

Kiedy baza była gotowa zaczełam odbijać Mokołaja na jego saniach. Cały ten obrazek z reniferami włacznie pochodzi z płytki MoYou London Festive 01. Odbiłam go lakierem do stempli Born Pretty Store #3 i Stemplem B, Loves Plates Crystal Clear. Wszystkie migoczące gwiazdki na moich paznokciach również pochodzą z tej samej płytki MoYou London i zostały zrobione lakierem Color Club Over The Moon. Jestem pewna, że w matowej wersji nie zoabczycie, że są one holograficzne, ale na końcu posta dodałam też kilka zdjęć błyszczących.

When the base was ready I started stamping Santa Claus on his sled. This whole image including the reindeers comes from MoYou London Festive 01 plate, I stamped it with Born Pretty Store stamping polish #3 and B. Loves Plates Crystal Clear Stamper. All of the sparkling stars on my nails also come from the same MoYou London plate and they were made with Color Club Over The Moon. I'm pretty sure You can't see they're holographic in the matte version, but at the end of this post I added a few glossy photos as well.

Poniżej możecie zobaczyć bliżej mój kciuk. Na tym paznokciu odbiłam napis "ho, ho, ho!". Z początku nie miałam na niego pomysłu, ale z pomoca przyszła płytka Lina Nail Art Supples Can't Wait For Xmas! 02. Na koniec zabezpieczyłam jeszcze wszystko top coat'em Kads i dodałam jedną warstwę Golden Rose Matte.

Below You can see a closer look on my thumb. I stamped a "ho, ho, ho!" inscription on this nail. I didn't have an idea for it at first, but the Lina Nail Art Supples Can't Wait For Xmas! 02 plate came to the rescue. In the end I just secured everything with Kads top coat and added a layer of Golden Rose Matte.

Tutaj z kolei manicure w wersji z błyszczącym top coat'em. Zdjęcia wyglądaja gówniano jak zwykle, ale musze powiedzieć, że baza ślicznie migotała. Która wersja podoba Wam się bardziej?

Here on the other hand is the manicure with a glossy top coat. The photos look shitty as always, but I have to say the base sparkled really nicely. Which version do You like better?

Ghosts - #clairestelle8halloween Challenge

Zazwyczaj nie zobowiązuję się do udziału w wyzwaniach nail art'owych ponieważ nigdy nie wiem czy uda mi się je ukończyć, zwłaszcza kiedy wymagają codziennych wpisów. Zwyczajnie nie mam tak dużo czasu.. Wyzwanie Halloween'owe też jest dość wymagające, ponieważ mani mają być dodawane co trzy dni, ale jest to zdecydowanie lepsze niż każdego dnia. Kolejną rzeczą jest fakt, że tematem jest Halloween! Po prostu nie mogłam sie oprzeć i będę się starać zaliczyć każdy temat na liście.

I usually don't commit to nail art challenges, because I'm never sure if I'll be able to finish them, especially when they require daily entries. I just don't have that much time.. The Halloween Challenge is still pretty intense, because manicures are supposed to be posted every three days, but it's much better than every day. Another thing is that it's Halloween themed! I just couldn't resist and I'll try my best to do every theme on the list :)

Wyzwanie zaczyna się dzisiaj i tematem są Duchy. Zdecydowałam się zrobić upiorną scenerię cmentarza, z dużą ilością bezlistnych drzew, starych nagrobków i wpleść kilka duchów tu i tam. Zaczęłam manicure od niebieskawego gradientu. Kolory jakich użyłam to Color Club In De-Nile, Essie Avenue Maintain i My Secret Dressed In Black. Było trochę bałaganu, bo czarny lakier zalał mi skórki, ale na szczęście My Secret w miarę łatwo schodzi ze skóry (przynajmniej jak na czarny lakier). Pokrylam też całość INM Norther Lights Silver żeby złagodzić gradient i dodać trochę blasku mani.

The challenge starts today and the theme is Ghosts. I decided to do a creepy cemetery scenery, with a lot of leafless trees, old tombstones and to twine a few ghost here and there. I started the manicure from a bluish gradient. The colours I used are Color Club In De-Nile, Essie Avenue Maintain and My Secret Dressed In Black. It was a bit messy, because the black flooded my cuticles, but thankfully My Secret cleans quite easily form the skin (at least for a black polish). I also covered the whole thing with INM Northern Lights Silver to soften the gradient and to add a little spark to the manicure.

Nie jestem pewna czy możecie to zobaczyć, ale pierwsze wzory stemplowe jakie nałożyłam na paznokcie są szare. Chciałam dodać mojemu cmentarzowi głębi, więc użyłam szarego lakieru do stempli Born Pretty Store #444 do pierwszych kilku nagrobków i krzyży żeby wyglądały jak dalekie tło. Niestety przesadziłam z czrnymi wzorami (odbitymi My Secret Dressed In Black) i zakryłam wiekszość szarości.. Wzory jakich użyłam żeby stworzyć cmentarz pochodzą z wielu płytek do stempli. Nie jestem w stanie nawet ich wszystkich wymienić, ale najbardziej charakterystyczne elementy są z następujących płytek: Qgirl-002 (nagrobki, krzyże i drzewa ), Uber Chic Halloween 01 (wielkie, krzyczące drzewo), DXE10 z Aliexpress (mniejsze drzewa). Stempel jakiego dzisiaj używalam to Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Silicone Marshmallow.

I'm not sure if You can see it, but the first stamping designs I put on my nails are gray. I wanted to give my cemetery some depth, so I used Born Pretty Store #444 gray stamping polish for the fist couple of tombstones and crosses to make them look like a far away background. I unfortunately went a bit overboard with the black designs (stamped with My Secret Dressed In Black) and covered most of the gray.. The designs I used to create my graveyard came from a number of stamping plates. I can't even name all of them, but the most characteristic features come from the fallowing plates: Qgirl-002 (tombstones, crosses and trees), Uber Chic Halloween 01 (big screaming tree), DXE10 from Aliexpress (smaller trees). The stamper I used today is Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Silicone Marshmallow Stamper.

Ostatnia rzecz jaką dodałam jest najważniejsza. Jakby nie patrzeć tematem dzisiejszego dnia są Duchy. Większość zjaw nawiedzających mój cmentarz jest z płytki Lina Nail Art Supplies Spooklicious 01 i odbiłam je Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 02 White. Na koniec zabezpieczyłam zdobienie top coat'em Kads i INM Out The Door.

The last thing I added was the most important one. After all, the theme today are ghosts! Most spirits haunting my cemetery are from Lina Nail Art Supplies Spooklicious 01 plate and I stamped them with Kaleidoscope by El Corazon 02 White. In the end I secured the nail art with Kads top coat and INM Out The Door.

REVIEW: Born Pretty Store Nightscape Water Decals

tym razem przychodzę do Was z kolejna recenzją Born Pretty Store. Już od jakiegoś czasu miałam ochotę wypróbować krajobrazowe naklejki wodne i właśnie one przyszły w ostatniej paczce. Widziałam wiele zdobień z konturem miasta i byłam zakochana w każdym jednym. Niektóre były ręcznie malowane, niektóre stemplowe i pomyślałam, że naklejki wodne będą najprostszym sposobem na osiągnięcie takiego samego efektu. Poniżej możecie zobaczyć jak moje nowe naklejki wodne wyglądają, a znajdziecie je TUTAJ.

this time I'm coming to You with another Born Pretty Store review. For some time now I was eager to try out landscape water decals and that's exactly what came in my last package. I saw numerous nail arts with a city contour and I loved every one of them. Some were freehand painted, some were stamping nail arts and I though that water decals would be the easiest way to achieve the same effect. Below You can see how do my new water decals look like and You can find them HERE.

Kartonik naklejek, który do nas przychodzi ma 12 rzędów krajobrazów miast i mają one odzwierciedlać niektóre z najbardziej znanych miast na świecie. Dostajemy też trzy różne typy krajobrazów: tylko kontur, czarny wzór i kolorową wersję. Dużym plusem jest to, że naklejki są cienkie. Ich krawędzie są niezauważalne na paznokciu kiedy zabezpieczymy zdobienie top coat'em. Jedyny problem jaki z nimi miałam to fakt, że ponieważ wzór jest dość długi, (nawet jak potniemy go na pasujące do paznokci kawałki) naklejka potrafi się czasem skleić do kupy jeśli nie jesteśmy dość ostrożne. Jest to oczywiście do ogarnięcie, ale przytrafiło mi się raz czy dwa. Jeśli chcecie więcej informacji o tym jak nakładać naklejki wodne, napisałam osobny post na ten temat TUTAJ.

The sheet of decals that comes to us has 12 rows of city landscapes and they're supposed to reflect some of the best known cities in the world. We also get three different types of landscapes: just a contour, a black design and a multicolour version. A big plus is that the decals are thin. Their edges are unnoticeable on the nail when we secure the nail art with a top coat. The only problem I had with them is that because the design is long, (even when we cut it into nail fitting pieces) the decals can sometimes stick together if we're not careful enough. It's manageable of course, but it did happen to me once or twice. If You want some more information on how to apply water decals, I wrote a separate post about this HERE.

Zrobiłam dwa mani używając tych naklejek i muszę powiedzieć, że bardziej podobają mi się na kwadratowych paznokciach niż na moich migdałach. To pewnie kwestia preferencji, ale jest to coś z czego zdałam sobie sprawę. Zwłaszcza przy drugim mani, nie wiedziałam czy pozostałą część paznokcia pod naklejką pokryć na czarno czy nie. Nawet spróbowałam, ale nie wyglądało to dobrze. Co Wy myślicie? Czy pewne wzory sa po prostu bardziej odpowiednie dla konkretnego kształtu paznokci?

I did two manicures using these decals and I have to say I like them more on square shaped nails than on my almonds. It's probably a matter of preference, but that's something that occurred to me. Especially with the second manicure, I didn't know if I should cover the rest of my nail under the decal with black or not. I even tried to, but it didn't look good. What do You think? Are some designs just better for a certain nail shape?

Pierwszy manicure jaki zrobiłam ma zwykłą, niebieska bazę. Nałożyłam dwie warstwy Dewi L34. Możecie o tym lakierze poczytać TUTAJ. Kiedy baza była całkiem sucha dodałam naklejki i zabezpieczyłam je jedną warstwą INM Out The Door.

The first manicure I did has a plain blue base. I applied  coats of Dewi L34. You can read more about this polish in my review HERE. After the base was completely dry I added the decals and secured them with one coat of INM Out The Door.

Najpierw pokryłam paznokcie jedną warstwą Essie Avenue Maintain żeby stworzyć bazę pod mój glitter. Lubię tak robić ponieważ czyszczenie skórek przy kremowym lakierze jest dużo wygodniejsze niż przy brokacie. Kiedy mam taką bazę po prostu się jej trzymam podczas aplikacji brokatu i wszystko gotowe. Poprawia to też krycie brokatu i nie musimy nakładać tak wielu warstw. Glitter jakiego użyłam w tym mani to Dewi L56. Kiedy całość była sucha odbiłam wzór imitujący gradient z płytki Bundle Monster BM-XL19. Użyłam lakieru Colour Alike & B. Loves Plates B. a Blue Ocean oraz Stempla B. Loves Plates Jumbo. Moimi następne kroki to: nałożenie jednej warstwy Sally Hansen Maximum Growth żeby zabezpieczyć stemple przed rozmazaniem w późniejszym czasie, dodanie naklejek wodnych i nałożenie jednej warstwy INM Out The Door żeby wykończyć manicure.

First I covered my nails with on coat of Essie Avenue Maintain as a base for my glitter. I like to do that because cleaning up my cuticles is much more comfortable with a cream polish than a glitter. When I have such a base I just stick to it applying the glitter and I'm good to go. It also improves the coverage of the glitter and we don't need to apply so many coats. The glitter I used in this manicure is Dewi L56. When the whole thing was dry I stamped on a gradient imitating design from Bundle Monster BM-XL19 plate. I used Colour Alike & B. Loves Plates B. a Blue Ocean and B. Loves Plates Jumbo Stamper. My next steps were: applying one coat of Sally Hansen Maximum Growth to secure the stamping from smudging afterwords, adding the water decals and putting one coat of INM Out The Door to finish the manicure.
