Fave Halloween Movie - #clairestelle8halloween Challenge

Mam nadzieję, że nie znudziły Wam się jeszcze Halloween'owe mani. Zaplanowałam jeszcze kilka ;) Jeśli zaś chodzi o dzisiejsze zdobienie to muszę się do czegoś przyznać.. Jakimś cudem udało mi się pomylić kolejność tematów w Wyzwaniu #clairestelle8halloween i byłam przekonana, że dzisiaj jest dzień Potworów. Cóż, nie jest ;) Mamy robić mani nawiązujące do Ulubionych Filmów Halloween'owych.

Hope You're not bored with Halloween manicures just yet. I still have a few more planned ;) When it comes to today's nail art, I have a confession to make.. I managed to mix up the order of #clairestelle8halloween Challenge themes and I was sure today is Monster's day. Well, it's not ;) We're supposed to do manicures relating to our Favourite Halloween Movies.

Na szczęście nie ma tego złego co by na dobre nie wyszło ;) Zasadniczo nie mam ulubionego filmu Halloween'owego i nie miałam pojęcia co zrobić na to konkretne zgłoszenie. Przeznaczenie (i moje roztargnienie) zdecydowało za mnie i stawiam na Frankenstein'a. Było o nim dużo filmów (później będę się zastanawić co innego zrobić w temacie Potworów ;)).

Fortunately every cloud has a silver lining ;) I actually don't have a favourite Halloween movie and I had no idea what to do for this particular prompt. Fate (and my mocus) decided for me and I'm going with Frankenstein. There was a lot of movies about him (I'll be wondering what else to do as my Monster manicure later ;)).

Kolejną rzecza jaką chciałabym żebyście wiedzieli na temat tego zdobienia jest fakt, że mocno zainspirowałam się mani zobaczonym na Instagramie. Nie jest to odwzorowanie, bo użyłam innych kolorów i innej płytki, ale zasługi za całą koncepcję należą się Cath @withnailsandi.

Another thing I'd like You to know about this nail art is that I was strongly inspired by a manicure I saw on Instagram. It's not a recreation, because I used different colours and a different plate, but the credit for the whole idea belongs to Cath @withnailsandi.

Przejdźmy do sedna sprawy. Lakiery jakich użyłam w moim okrągłym gradiencie to Essie Navigate Her i China Glaze Westside Warrior. Na tej bazie odbiłam obrazki z płytek MoYou London Literature 07 i Bundle Monster BM-S248 lakierem ChG Westside Warrior. Wzorki te miały być swego rodzaju tłem dla napisów, ale nie są zbyt widoczne. @withnailsandi dużo lepiej z tym poszło niż mi.

Lets cut to the chase now. The polishes I used for my radial gradient were Essie Navigate Her and China Glaze Westside Warrior. Over this base I stamped some images from MoYou London Literature 07 and Bundle Monster BM-S248 plates with ChG Westside Warrior. These designs were supposed to be a sort of background for the inscription, but they're not very visible. @withnailsandi did a much better job at this than me.

Następnie przyszedł czas na podwójnie steplowanego Frankenstein'a na palcu serdecznym (najpierw ChG Westside Warrior) i napisy na pozostałych paznokciach. Wszystkie te wzorki pochodzą z płytki MoYou London Literature 07. Czarny lakier do stempli jakiego użyłam to My Secret Dressed In Black. Manicure był zabezpieczony top coat'em Kads i zmatowiony Golden Rose Matte top coat.

Next came the double stamped Frankenstein on my ring finger (first with ChG Westside Warrior) and the inscriptions on the rest of my nails. All of these designs came from MoYou London Literature 07 plate. The black stamping polish I used was My Secret Dressed In Black. The manicure was secured with Kads top coat and mattified with Golden Rose Matte top coat.

It's Alive!!! - Frankenstein Manicure

Wiem, wiem... Pisałam, że lubię Halloween za całą tą ciemność, a teraz wstawiam neonowy Frankenstein Manicure.. cóż, dotrzemy do części z ciemnością - obiecuję :D

I know, I know... I wrote that I like Halloween for the whole darkness thing and now I'm posting a neon Frankenstein Manicure.. well, will get to the dark part - I promise :D

Ten pomysł pojawił się bardzo niespodziewanie. W tym roku na prawdę chciałam zrobić manicure Frankenstein'owy ze szwami itp. Kiedy musiałam się zdecydować na kolor, neonowo zielony jakoś tak wpadł mi do głowy. Pomalowałam kciuk i palec serdeczny na czarno używając My Secret 121, a żeby mani był jeszcze bardziej interesujący na reszcie zrobiłam neonowy gradient. Użyłam trzech lakierów: Lovely Butterfly Colors Nr 2, Orly Thrill Seeker, Lovely Butterfly Colors Nr 1 i gąbki do makijażu.

This idea came to me very unexpectedly. This year I really wanted to do a Frankenstein manicure with the stitches and all. When I had to decide on a colour, neon green just popped into my head. I painted my thumb and ring finger black using My Secret 121 and  to make this manicure even more interesting I did a neon gradient on the rest. I used three polishes: Lovely Butterfly Colors Nr 2, Orly Thrill Seeker, Lovely Butterfly Colors Nr 1 and a make-up sponge.

Wzorki jakie odbiłam pochodzą z plytek MoYou London Gothic 04 i Festive 16. Szwy zrobiłam My Secret 121 a głowy Frankenstein'a lakierem B. Loves Plates BPL02 B. a Snow White. Chciałam żeby wzory z kciuka i serdecznego pasowały do gradientu, niestety nie miałam lakieru do stempli w żadnym podobnym kolorze. Żeby osiągnąć mój cel po prostu odstemplowałam wzory bielą i pokolorowałam tintami własnej roboty. Próbowałam nawet zrobić gradient przy pomocy tintów, mam nadzieję, że jest widoczny :)

The designs I stamped come from MoYou London Gothic 04 and Festive 16 image plates. I did the stitches with My Secret 121 and the Frankenstein's heads with B. Loves Plates BPL02 B. a Snow White. I wanted the design from my thumb and ring finger to match the gradient, unfortunately I didn't have a stamping polishes in any similar colour. To achieve my goal I just stamped the designs in white and coloured with my DIY sheer tints. I even tried to do a gradient with the tints, hope it's visible :)
